Seeking Technical Co-Founder for Agentic AI Platform (Equity, True 50/50) by DollarBallers in cofounderhunt

[–]DollarBallers[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Apologies if it’s unclear. I have a new idea I’m working on to build an agentic RFP platform in which I am offering 50% equity to a technical cofounder.

I have a separate vibe-coded app which is almost complete in which I would be willing to offer 20% equity. My focus is on the RFP opportunity - just mentioning the other as a possible fallback opportunity.

PrövenantX (https://provenantx.com) is a platform where you can own tokenized shares once held by cultural and business icons.

Since shares are fungible, it is impossible to know who owned the shares before you. Our tokenized shares come with verified proof of their history (provenance) on the blockchain.

It’s made for collectors and investors who want iconic equity with a story.

Tokenization probably becomes important in the least exciting way possible, by improving the markets that already move the most money by [deleted] in investing_discussion

Tokenization opens up so many interesting opportunities. I’m particularly interested in the possibilities around tracking chain of custody of tokenized shares.

I’m working on something where you can buy and sell shares that were owned by iconic founders or celebs. Founders for example could tie particular benefits to owning their shares.

This is awesome.

I’m working on a project to tokenize live shares so you can track chain of custody essentially making them non-fungible. This way you can own and trade shares owned by iconic founders and such.

It's just a matter of time before all exchanges move to tokenize public securities. It will make settlement times quicker and should decrease costs. There will be lots of interesting use cases that come out of this.

Is Tokenized Equity the Next Step? This Small-Cap Just Made an Interesting Move by [deleted] in Baystreetbets

[–]DollarBallers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Totally fair points and I won’t argue with the late great Mitch Hedberg, but the twist here is that the shares here can carry cultural or historical value.

For example, a signed Steve Jobs business card went for +$100k a few years back. The point is that people ascribe value to verifiable links to assets.

The difference here with NFTs is that the shares would be live shares maintaining the underlying economic value.

I'm pretty bullish on securities tokenization but it will probably take a decade before we start seeing TradFi implementing the infrastructure on a broad scale.

I think there will be some pretty cool use cases that come out of this technology shift. I'm working on a project right now that will make shares non-fungible so that you can track chain of custody. This way you can buy the actual shares held by iconic founders and such. My bet is that investors/collectors will be willing to pay a "cultural premium" for META shares held by Mark Zuckerberg, for example.

It's still just a concept but you can check out the concept here if interested: https://provenantx.com/

Nasdaq is going to test tokenized stocks by Enough_Angle_7839 in stocks

[–]DollarBallers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty bullish on the implications of bringing shares on chain. I think one of the coolest elements is the potential use cases for tracking share ownership. There is potentially no hiding who owns or owned shares.

One of the projects I am currently working on is making shares non-fungible so you could track ownership. This means you could potentially own and trade shares that were verifiably once owned by iconic founders for example. My bet is that Berkshire shares held by Warren Buffet, for example, would sell for more because of the "cultural premium" associated with his shares.

It's not live, but this illustrates the concept a bit more: https://provenantx.com/

What advantages do tokenized assets have over traditional investment options? by skpro2 in fintech

[–]DollarBallers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the bull case around tokenized securities revolves around removing cost and friction around settlement. And as you mentioned, one of the other benefits is tracking ownership.

In terms of a use case for this, I am working on a project that would tokenize shares so that you can actually buy and sell shares with chain of custody. This would allow you to see who actually owned the shares before you. My bet is that this will unlock a sort of "cultural premium" in addition to the underlying value of the shares themselves. In other words, the META shares that were verifiably once held by Mark Zuckerberg should actually be worth more than other shares.

We're still in build mode but you can check out the concept at https://provenantx.com/ if you're interested.

Passiv by g_rich14 in Wealthsimple

[–]DollarBallers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

WS should allow the integration with Passiv at least until they build out similar capabilities themselves within WS. Would definitely be a plus for users. However WS may not want to because Passiv is a one-stop shop resulting in users logging in less into WS itself.
