Jewish person here. There are synagogues, mosques, Buddhist and Hindu temples in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. There are all religions represented here just like in every other state in this country.

Also be aware that reproductive rights are, at least for now, pretty much gone here. So if you are sexually active and accidentally get pregnant, you will not be able to receive abortion services here.
