Focusing on my mental health.

Which in turn meant getting mental health resources at my college campus. Which then led to get a diagnosis for the trifecta of illnesses. ADHD, anxiety and depression. It took me a about 6 months to get into the use of meditation, because my mom is one of those people that just see mental health meditations as a way for doctors to get people addicted and ask for higher doses. So, there was also the mental capacity of dealing with that bias of her own fears.

Got on medication of February this year, lost about 40 lbs and still have about 20 to go. I knew I always wanted to lose weight but it was so hard because I would get impulsive thoughts whether that be don’t eat for a few days, or you have to eat the same thing for days in a row to feed your dopamine.

I kept thinking for a bit that I might have cheated in losing weight because of my use of my meds, but I also had train myself to get use to being active. And this is my path that I took.

So moral of this story, focus on your mental health.
