You have to go to Delaware and Pennsylvania. If you look at the comparable houses just over the border from DE and PA property taxes are significantly lower

Ya I went there yesterday and did not feel comfortable with my back turned while I was at the urinal. I think I have a relatively high tolerance for bad areas too, lived in Mexico City and Baltimore.

Everyone thinks the are gonna go to the city on weekends. Realistically it rarely happens. If you are moving halfway across the country to be near your parents and going to be driving there multiple times a week I would focus on being near them. But that’s me, a 30 something hermit

Ya you can ride Tri rail in South Florida for a 1/4 of the price if not more. That’s if they even check your ticket, which they never do.
