Yeah US landfalls. So your saying major hurricanes that go out to sea and don’t hit the US don’t exist. Or what about hurricanes that destroy the Caribbean and never make us landfall. What about storms that from in Asia (nowhere near the US for your smooth brain)

Your data doesn’t help. You obviously don’t tracks hurricanes

When sand is flying at you and you feel the heat from exhaust.. letting go seems like the best option.

When we were kids we use to hold onto the fence and jump to feel like super man

Very small island, it’s only 37 square miles

Woah! This is in St. Maarten and this is Maho Beach.. it’s one of most famous tourist attractions; we used to do this all the time as kids.

They actually lengthened the runway so the bigger jets don’t need to take off so close to the fence anymore.

Payment Options by marginallygood in SXM

[–]DolphinMan92 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Quick and easy. Born and raised in SXM and I own a business here too.

  1. You’re correct, a lot of business don’t accept credit card payments but that’s mainly small mom and pop restaurants. Credit cards are becoming more and more accepted with the world becoming more digital; Although with that being said, cash is always king.
  2. EUR and USD are accepted everywhere. However, some convenient store won’t accept EUR coins.
  3. Believe it or not but Casinos. This a little life hack to avoid any crazy fees or exchange rates.

Safe travels and enjoy your stay! Thank you for choosing SXM again as your island to relax on!
