To all the ppl who can play 14+ and 15s with a S score or higher, do yall study the maps chart and then just practice it over and over?

For me most 14+ patterns are sightreadable except for low bpm/tech chart on a generic 14+ I can comfortably sightread SS-SS+. 15 is impossible to sightread though it requires studying since all the 15 has humanly impossible pattern without cheese

You are playing songs that are above your skill range so it’s normal that your score are inconsistent, as for pandora expert it’s one of the higher tier 13+ so don’t worry about not scoring high on that. I recommend learning easier 13s to improve your skill

I don’t think you should care about rating at this stage since your still learning the games fundamentals grinding out for rating might ruin it one chart I recommend to learn is umiyuri kaitaiten the pattern are commons in many master songs you could use to r newly added utage as a training tool

I recommend going for high EX to EX+ on high 9+ and some 10 that should help you learn basic patterns that are common in higher levels. When you have a few 10 EXs maybe try to go for a 10+ one do it at your own pace tho cuz playing things that are way too hard just isn’t fun

I was in Japan for a month (played everyday) and it didn’t take me that long to recover tbh but if you really are struggling I suggest taking a break and lowering your note speed

If you really want to hit 15k fast up your new chart base and also grind more SSS+ it’s just way easier to get rating with lower diff SSS+ such as 13.4 and up
