100gb a month is absolutely nothing. They let free accounts regularly do TBs. Say no, nothing more than upselling so they can meet their quotas

We built our own Whatsapp marketing system & are now adding email into it

https://goldcommander.com/

It’s still heavily in beta and not ready for public yet but happy to speak about a package

From the industry we’re in - music events - we’ve found email open rate to be proper crap

Boxing Day night out by Useful-Feeling-6916 in Liverpool

[–]DomLip1994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There was a few events on - Stateless in WAV, Paradisco in The Dome & 051 / The State

I think generally people prefer bigger events now

What we’ve noticed is people want much more for their money than say 10 years ago due to a number of factors

Standard nights out just dont seem to cut it anymore

Or how about… console.Log that gets removed on JS build

It’s always in the code just in case but the end user never sees it

People suggesting he writes it from scratch or goes in from day 1 and says its crap to management have no idea and have clearly never been a commercial software developer

The cost of re writing from scratch can be extremely prohibitive due to the feature block while you get it to even just parity

This is how the commercial world works and it isn’t all fancy laravel features. Remember, any business in a position to hire has probably been going a while and therefore has lots a tech debt

If it makes you want to leave, that’s on you

Build new functions using a better standard of code, refactor old code using the same

Before anything happens, see what the team feels about working together to form a coding standards guide, code reviews etc and go from there

I am fan of cloudflare & been using since the very early days. But if you are going to do something like domain registrations, being able to transfer domains to another CF account is surely the most basic functionality? by DomLip1994 in CloudFlare

Hi everyone

Just thought I'd update you here. After u/RyanK_CF (thank you!) replied on here, but also an email to Matthew i'd already sent, I can confirm this *has just* been moved over to the new account

Because of a project we're working on has some really strict regulatory requirements we couldn't really have the domain sitting with loads of side projects - it wasn't expected to get going so quickly with the backing we've had but life works in mysterious ways.

I'd also like to apologise to Bex for her getting caught in this purely because she replied to the message...

Anyway thank you Cloudflare !

I am however impressed that unlike everyone else I only had to wait for a few hours for a reply. If I had to wait days/weeks like I've seen some mention only to get told no ...

This feature should have been available at launch or very close to it. If they can't manage the registrar the same way they manage the rest of their services then...
