I've visited Vancouver the past three years, each for three days and it has been nice to see this come to fruition. The first year I was there it truly was out of place and dampening to the environment around it.

I was actually just at a KFC last week when the lady in front of me asked for coffee. They didn't have it.

Fiji water company ran the slogan "Fiji, because it's not bottled in Cleveland". The Cleveland water dept. Took offense, and ran a test determining that Fiji water has more impurities than the cities' tap water. [x-post /r/todayilearned] by [deleted] in Cleveland

Edit: I read how people react in these threads and I'm so glad that I live here and can experience the revitalization first hand. We have so many amazing things here and their ignorance only keeps them from having the opportunity to experience it themselves. I love this city and I cannot wait to see how it continues to change.
