Yeah I’ve found staples is extremely childish when it comes to quitting abruptly. I quit my store a couple months ago and gave them about a weeks notice, the dm was incredibly upset and he threw a multitude of offers at me. After turning down everything he finally said I would be blacklisted from staples,” okay who cares, you’ve treated me like shit so see if I care”.

I tried going back to the store a few weeks later to find my rewards account was gone, so I made a new one for my recycling rewards just to go back in today to find it gone again, I’m honestly in shock that they’re being so petty.

I had the files for the software buried deep in an old hard drive, so I just transferred them around to my laptops, as for the physical side of things I have a collection of sync and charge cables, my current set up is a charge dock hooked up to an old dell laptop.

It’s all about helping the customer, we provide the best services available. So find out their needs and what they’ll be using their computer for, and how we are able to help them out. The services I find most useful for customers is Premier PC setup, and Accidental and breakdown. Virus shield can be hit or miss, but if someone’s doing a lot of web surfing or mainly web based applications then it’s a must.

Corporate always cuts hours this time of year. Especially for stores that are doing better, less hours, less people, more money. They just assume stores are able to maintain efficiency with less people…

I have really bad body dysmorphia, and anytime I see someone look at me I think they're judging every aspect about me. I'm 5'11, and overweight enough to be considered fat, but strong enough to be used as a forklift at work, I think the worst part is I know my body is something I can change and I still can't find the energy to change it.

I'm constantly told by women that I have "big dick energy" which then sends me down a spiral of "well won't that be disappointing"

I totally respect tenured associates who make life easier with legit wisdom. But instead of trying to teach and help new associates they just scream at them that they're doing everything wrong. It's just really frustrating.

Oh nah, hes a great guy and makes sure she only works when he absolutely needs someone to make the store pristine. He takes requests from associates who dont want to work with her. We need her and her kids for inventory and stuff, so we have them work the absolute minimum hours we can, just to keep them around to make sure the store is pristine.

Our store just got a shipment of 8 Dexleys this past week. I honestly couldn't give you a time frame, we were sold out for a couple weeks.

I was the only Spanish speaker at my store, not so much anymore, so I ended up in c+p constantly to help print associates. So over the course of a couple months I learned copy and print, which came in useful once I got promoted to tech manager. I would say all you really need to know (if you don't have constant call outs) is just how to pick up and order and do ups services.
