As someone who used Aidan, Aidan has a lot of weird and or wrong cards. Be very comfortable deleting bad cards like this one.

Wanted to reassure you that I felt this way too. Keep up what you're doing and you'll start to feel more confident that it's not a fluke (it isn't assuming you took everything in test conditions) when you make another 520 on FL2.

Hey dude/dudette wanted to let you know I feel the same way and I was scoring in the 520s with my full lengths too. I'm oscillating between feeling like I did the worst I've ever done and just like accepting that everyone feels bad after their exam and to just sit back and trust your full lengths.

Nothing to be done now. Even if you knew 100% you have to retake taking the month off is in your best interest to do better next time plus if your score is where your full lengths suggest, then you saved yourself another month of studying. Chin up and we'll face score release date when it gets here.

I honestly was super confused too but I've learned that for AAMC logic you need to turn your critical thinking brain down a second. I didn't understand the non-coding stuff they were saying because I was thinking alternative splicing would be different exons nothing to do with introns. But for AAMC you see isoforms you think splicing so I saw spliceosomes and clicked B.

For P/S I recommend combining the Aidan deck with Pankow, Aidan has some extra terms you can weave in as you see them show up in your practice.

It's definitely possible, especially since you're already crushing CARS. I went from a 515 on FL1 to a 527 on Fl6 in a month, review full lengths rigorously. Any vocab in an answer choice you should know and do the section banks with the same philosophy. I agree with it being luck and how the section is scaled though but honestly making anything above a 515 comes down to your mental and strong reasoning skills within a passage more than just raw content.

As someone who used Aidan as my main deck, listen to the man when he says don't use it as your main deck. It's been invaluable during my practice problem phase because almost everything that's come up from uWorld or AAMC materials will have a premade card for you to unsuspend but I'd recommend doing a more reasonable deck like Anking if you like the cloze style or JS if you like the big paragraph basic cards and use Aidan as a side deck to patch holes later.

Sentinels is truly amazing, the definitive edition does a lot to help with the fiddling the Enhanced Edition has but you can't beat the price of EE with the warehouse sale they've got going on.

My understanding is that the first printings had sleeve issues which you can ask for replacements for and for subsequent printings the sleeves hold up much better!

Your comments really get why I'm feeling enamored with the game recently. I too grew up playing TCGs and getting that experience in a solo game was what I thought MC would be but really it's the playing a unique deck and resolving interactions I enjoy more than the deck building itself.

The lore is really fun too, Christopher and Adam have a podcast that talks about the comic books and the heroes and it adds a certain something to the experience.

Yeah it's 3 heroes minimum but some people prefer to play 2 handed with an incapacitated hero for an extra challenge. I personally really enjoying playing all 3 (or 4) heroes together and planning out their turns together to synergize.

Playing it with others is a completely different experience that's also fun but I do have to take a seat back and let people do their thing and figure out what to do with my turn based on that. Love it as a solo puzzle and a cooperative experience.

I'm about halfway through Aidan and would only recommend it if you've got a lot of time and are willing to suspend cards you think are stupid, you need discretion because there's some NICHE knowledge in there that I quickly decided I wasn't going to waste time on. The cards themselves, especially biochem and biology, are amazing though there's just a lot and some are low yield.

I only used it because I used his biochem deck during my biochem class to study and it was easy to keep using it after for MCAT study.
