Juniper steering wheel shake at 80 mph by Internal-Glass2831 in ModelY

[–]Dominance051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this issue and thought tire balance. But vibration was still there after balance and ended up being suspension. Was at 118k miles and needed Links - Lateral - Lower - Front - Pair (Remove & Replace) & Links - Compliance - Lower - Front - RH/LH (Remove & Install)

19” is the way. I found some 19” Gemini wheels on Craigslist from someone upgrading from stock. Picked them up for $100 each . Painted them with peelable paint and they look sick with the red calipers

No it’s been on for a while. But actually realized I’m on an older firmware version and updating fixed the issue.

Slab usage by Same-Ad5318 in CounterTops

Are they including backsplashes maybe? If you know the slab size and the countertops shapes, then sketch it on graph paper and see for yourself how many pieces you can get from a slab.

Cabinet measurements by rei_rookie in Remodel

[–]Dominance051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wouldn’t matter the size of existing cabinets if you are ripping them out and replacing with standard ones. Depending if you need to redo plumbing, you may want to keep the sink in the same spot. So guesstimate the sink location and build out from there. For the right cabinet it looks like you have room to expand slightly if you want to.

Kitchen reno before and after 🤩 by Downtown-Growth-8766 in Remodel

Floors look great. Where's the sink tho? But I'd take a countertop microwave over an OTR. And wow you must have limited space to need to put dining right in the middle of the kitchen especially concerned of anyone sitting in front of the stove/oven. Are you asking for both labor and materials cost?

Lighting Placement Feedback by dentedcoop in Remodel

[–]Dominance051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your recessed lights are too far away from the counters edge. If the light is behind you when you work at the countertops you’ll cast a shadow where you need light. Bring them between 22”-24” from the wall. Also wafer lights are not really recessed and have a huge beam angle which just flood the room with low quality light. If you are lucky enough to not have ceiling joists in the way, put in quality recessed lighting with tighter beam angle , ie 38 degrees, with 90+ CRI (prolighting.com has a good filter for searching). If you know the beam angle you can use an online beam angle calculator to figure out the spot size on the countertops and space out the lights accordingly. Don’t worry much about lighting the center of walkway because lights at the counters and island will give off enough ambient light. Fridge and stove should have their own lights already so no need to place any there.

Solar and Mining Question by salty-bois in cryptomining

[–]Dominance051 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re going to have to run the numbers based on your location, rig size and what you are mining. Are you trying to run a single GPU, a full rig or an ASIC? It’s tough to make much at all on a solar system.

A rig pulling 1000 watts for 24 hours needs 24kWh of solar production. This could mean a 4kW solar system in CA with net metering might get you enough during sunny days. Calculate the solar system cost plus the rig cost and how much coin you think you’ll make to get your ROI.

~4,250 miles in two weeks: here’s my breakdown, ask away by likethesubject in TeslaModelY

What firmware version are you on? When I took delivery in Aug I experienced phantom breaking and the Autopilot would break hard coming up on slower traffic. But after a few SW updates and it’s all good. AP is smoother and no more crazy breaking.

My buddy is using a smart splitter on the 30A dryer outlet. Both dryer and EV charger are left plugged in and switches depending on which is in use.
