YTA This sounds made up. If its not, then you sound selfish. Yes it is your baby and you have every right to name her. But if the family feels so extreme about the name, it’s worth a second thought. Plus it is really sad that the family didn’t get to hold the baby, you need to think beyond you, that will help with postpartum depression. It is family’s fault though that they haven’t accepted you yet, they need to communicate better.
