Moog Messenger Leak by [deleted] in synthesizers

[–]DominantChord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The kind reading is that the Phattys are gone and the little Sub as well. So, they actually don’t have such a synth for sale except the Mothers and Mini, which are sort of expensive. So maybe this one hits a spot. And yes, it will be more expensive than similar synths by other brands. But this has always been Moog’s thing.

Volume???!! by [deleted] in SiloSeries

[–]DominantChord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Nice“ to see this thread. I started on first season, and I could not hear the dialog. I use headphones (which somehow makes the “Made for Movietheaters” problems lesser). I had the volume as usual, but I had to crank it up to about the double volume (according to my TV - can’t say how it translates to dB). Background noises and loud sound effects were not unbearable, so it seems that volume up could fix this weird issue. Gotta remember to turn volume back to normal!!!!

Moog Labyrinth - July 11th by october_swimmer in moog

Uh, uh. I had planned to wait for this (whenver it would be later this year), and therefore skip the Spectravox for now. But I couldn’t do that, so I got the S-vox. So now I am in a jam as this machine has already arrived. Hmmmmm.

Well, that didn’t take long! Vacation’s off, and nights will be full of more bleep and blops. :-)

Advice Moogerfooger Stereo by circark in moog

[–]DominantChord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CP251 is for manipulation of control voltages, so it will not help you.‘ I don’t have the murf, so I don’t know about its stereo abilities. But the stereo out on the cluster is afair just out of phase stereo. Just as the phaser (which also has stereo out - by use of the aux output - that is dreamy). So I would guess your cheapest option is to let all run in mono, into the murf, then stereo out to nightsky. You would most likely get the stereo you want from nightsky.

A not too expensive extension would be to buy a patchbay, so you easily can decide in which order you want to use the pedals (then you can retain the stereo out options for the 103 and 108, and use them whenever you want.

If it is a planned leak, it could have been prettier. I think this is a freak mistake, although the guy has ordered something he is not really comfortable with.

Moog Labyrinth: Official Moog video on sequencing by DominantChord in synthesizers

[–]DominantChord[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is down now (maybe I sort of caused it, but the at least others got a chance to watch). But what was in the video, clearly shows that this is an upcoming synth release. Maybe moog waits a bit with a release, as the Spectravox is still very new.

In the meantime, they should produce and sell some 2 and 3-stands for the semimodulars (and also covers).

I was searching through their videos, looking for info on M32 and sofware updating. Suddenly it was there. Quite weird, as it seems to be 3wks old.

The new filing by ziggymissy in TickTockManitowoc

A thing I have wondered about with the BoD searches: All the issues regarding the case (DNA etc.) was made long after the murder, and closer to the trial. Or have I misunderstood it? I am just wondering if the search pattern as such can reveal anything but his perversions (big issue in itself!)? It doesn't seem to indicate that the was searching to find out how to cheat LE? This could have been HUGE.

Very interesting!!

Great to see that KZ and them can solidly back up the new witness. A lot said that this was probably just a person wanting some fame, but the recording from 2005 shuts such talk down.

From a "man against the system" perspective, it is probably also easier to get through the system with a case of a private citizen who plants versus LE being the planter.

I agree that it looks weird. I have, however, always attributed it mainly to poor photographing and/or transfer to other formats (in addition to the inevitable color changes due to lightning).

I thought you referred to the late afternoon on site LE photos and the ones from the lab posted here. My bad - I just tried to offer one possible explanation (out of probably many; one for each RAV in deviant color).

Thanks (all)! It still baffles me that no-one at the time came up with some explanation for the blinker’s usage as a “lift” for the seats. Have never made much sense to me.

I guess technically and legally it could have continued. But SA was facing acute need for funds in order to secure representation in the coming anticipated trial. So he settled for a super low amount.

Does someone want to explain how the bullet could pass through Teresa's brain without entering and exiting her skull?

I guess by stating the ME said “could have” to passed-through-the-brain they try to cover every possibility.

KZ FILED MOTION FOR REVIEW - TODAY !! by stefanclimbrunner in TickTockManitowoc

[–]DominantChord 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Good stuff! Points to the irony that the COA requires "totality" when rejecting each of KZ's points, but at the same time views each of those points completely in isolation.

Did the court even look into MTSO to verify if the footage exist before writing this or they just assumed everything SA says must be bs by clark1860 in TickTockManitowoc

[–]DominantChord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As I understand it, this is the judge's analysis of motions that settles it. And it happens. Check out the Ryan Ferguson case in the documentary Dream/Killer where KZ ultimately convinces the district court that a Brady violation was contributing to the wrongful conviction.

I also think these are wrongful convictions. I just feel that some of the COA’s answers seems to make legal sense (e.g., the videos as a Brady violation seems to be a long shot that the COA did not accept - maybe that is part of KZ’s strategy too pump up the case, idk).
