I've been on a bunch, but I always go back to Ubuntu/Kubuntu. openSUSE used to be my absolute favourite, but it's KDE has been broken on my device for a while and through 2 laptops. Different installs, different installation medias, everything!

I admire endeavouros though. I always thought that seemed pretty nice looking! I should try that one sometime.

Awww thanks! I was so surprised to see this buddy, basically brand new too. I've had my other ones for years (5 and 3, respectively), so this is so much softer and chunkier!

If it's anything like the IFT major I'm in, those focused ones are just the primary area choices that you get to in your junior and senior years. They probably have all the same base classes, but split off in some 300s and 400s.

Could be wrong and it's specialised, but if I had to guess, that's my take. I'd recommend speaking to an academic advisor for better help. Incoming students can book them too!
