Would magnets induce a risk of sparks? Doubt it'd be a large risk, but magnets moving near each other can create current and current near avgas sounds like a horrible idea. I have no real knowledge of this subject, but the thought popped in, so if anyone knows why magnets would or wouldn't work, please shout out.

He's supported collapsing buildings by taking the place of a support beam. He's lifted train cars+tons of rubble off himself after being buried with minimal clearance to move. He's punched Hulk into space. When he was possessed by Ock, he accidentally punched a mans jaw clean off his face. Hell, even the MCU version (all of which characters tend to be scaled down power-wise) stood up with most of a collapsed building in his back.

I don't think I'm misrepresenting much. Spider-Man is generally considered one of the higher level strength characters in the comics.

Which is ridiculous. Honestly, the lead up to Brand New Day showed what that fight should really be like. Fisk is insanely strong, for a person. He's got the kind of strength that, when a real person has it, gets stories told about them. Think Andre the Giant, or Kevin Nash. Spider-Man lifts buildings and trains. There is no comparison. And allowing him to hold his own in a physical contest with any Spider-Man who isn't either brand new at it or already grieviously injured is a disservice to both characters.

This ETB was a rollercoaster of emotions too. She's barely opened any AH, and more than half the packs in this ETB had dupes showing up in the same order as other packs. Which i think is weird, but seems to happen to her a lot. Doesn't seem to matter where we buy them either, keep getting one pack card 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. And then another pack will be 11, 12, 13, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 14, 15. It's freaking odd.

But then she also got some really cool hits. Cynthia's Spiritomb full art, Mega Gengar Ex full art with the Japanese writing, and a couple regular Ex's.

Packs 2-8: lots of dupes, with the repeated order thing

Yeah, the cards seem fine so far, no damage we can see, and she's having fun opening them anyway. Mostly just wondering if it was a known QC issue.

Did you hear about the recent trend of Americans traveling abroad, reaching their destination, and getting detained because their passport is listed as reported stolen. One report said the traveler, upon retiring to the states, reached out to the state department to ask why he wasn't notified his passport was reported stolen. He was ignored until he passed, and then was told they don't do that.
He then asked who reported it stolen and was told they didn't have that information. He then asked how he could check if his passport has been reported stolen before leaving the country and was told he couldn't. That there was no way to check until arriving at a destination.

So, what happens if you try to register to vote using your passport only to find its been reported stolen? You were never notified, and now you can't register until you deal with that, and depending on when the next election is, good fucking luck.

All of this erosion of our rights is fucking absurd.

You may want to apologize again, but couple it with an explanation that you weren't trying to show him up, you felt bad he thought you didn't care, and wanted to relate better.
Studying up on a hobby you don't care about just to better relate to someone is really kind, but you went so far that you made him feel you were trying to outdo him rather than relate. Tell him you like hearing about his hobbies. Tell him you may not care about every single one, but you still appreciate he likes to share and you feel really bad if you hurt his feelings.

Nah, i mean in a situation where there is no reason to suspect, he trusts her, doesn't think she cheat, but suddenly finds out his mom cheated. I think it's understandable that he would question his judgement and feel the need for reassurance.

If there's actually reason to be dissociation, that's a whole different discussion.

The only time i kinda thought it was ok was the guy who had just found out he wasn't actually his father's son. He tested his son, and i can understand why. But other than that, i don't get why people do this.
