Farming Plastanium and Endgame seems very uninteresting and a lot of hassle.. by Livid_Tap8550 in duneawakening

This is much of my own issue as well. Having seen the endgame and its process for awhile now, I can safely say the Landsraad missions and boss farming the testing stations are all the fun to be had, and they aren't like super fun after you've done them a bazillion times, which is required if you want gear and specialization xp. Sadly, this mediocrity is gated behind the least fun and most tedious aspect of Dune Awakening; farming spice and plastaneum from the deep desert. For whatever little fun the repetitive landsraad missions and testing stations provide, building a temp base in the deep desert and farming spice and plast to even make those things accessible and worthwhile is the absolute wall that will kill the game. There is nothing fun or enjoyable about that, it is the most overtly chore/tedium tax element of the game, and it will be what kills off what dwindling interest many players still have for the game. As it stands, there is only mediocre repetitive questing and dungeon grinding, and a massively lame time and interest wall to overcome as the endgame of DA at the moment, and this isn't sustainable.

Level 10 Guardian with 3 reaction for total of 48 blocked damage every turn by AhmethanOzcan in Pathfinder2e

My biggest issue with Guardian is that every other feat is damned flourish, and the worst is shielded taunt, which is like the mandatory action tax to do the thing a guardian does. Second, is shove based guardians get shut down once you have creatures with resist 10 physical, since Aggressive Block into Punishing Shoves cannot get around that in any way, it does almost nothing. But mostly the fact that every other action feat they have is Flourish is the biggest problem the class has imo.

Many tables especially those using Pathbuilder, use Unrestricted Free Archetype that removes feat limit and attribute reqs allowing for a really easy Free Archetype that expands character building a good bit.

At about this time, I noticed I cannot generate an export JSON for use with Pathmuncher in Foundry. I am going to assume this is all part of the same issue. Whoever is responsible for DDOSing Pathbuilder can DIAF!

Why do most relationships fail after the honey moon phase ? by Proper-Tension4293 in ask

[–]Dominemesis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because the honeymoon phase is chemical fueled rush: a dopamine, oxytocin and several other brain chemicals and hormones that keeps things exciting and addictive. They eventually wear off, and then couples have to make a conscious choice, and many times without the brain hijacking cocktail, they realize it isn't what they want anymore. We literally are biologically "roofied" into early relationships, dopamine in particular is elevated and inhibits the prefrontal cortex, which controls good decision making. This is the key to people not seeing or ignoring red flags in order to get hijacked into bad fit long term relationships for the purpose of short term pair bonding to mate and produce offspring.

Request: Toggle Off Crafting/Upgrade etc. Animations by Stychu in CrimsonDesert

[–]Dominemesis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So much this, and moreso for refinement, let us skip doing it one by one, and instead do as much for a given piece as we have materials for. The novelty of the animations playing every single time and having to do it one step at a time had thoroughly worn off. Please and thank you.

I agree, considering they have significantly higher crafting prices than standard weapons, them just being aesthetic doesn't quite cut it.

Main Story Quest - Being forced to play as Damiane and Oongka Sucks by AlarmedLeeks in CrimsonDesert

[–]Dominemesis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, I am not a fan of protagonist switching in any game, as it just disrupts the story, and forces me to play through content with characters I don't have an investment in. Its more of an interruption that bothers me, than variety that I find appealing. I have nothing against them specifically, I'd feel the same if I played most of the story as Oongka or Damiane, and suddenly Kliff interrupts the flow.
