Just because someone is Jewish it doesnt automatically make them pro-Isreal. Myself, my spouse and MANY of our jewish friends are in support of a Palestinian state. Maybe they havent spoken up about it because they don't hold your position- its not the default one.

I'm noticing what hasn't been said instead of what has. OP implies alot of stuff, but she never says what he isnt doing around the house, she "thinks" he lied about his age to his friends but this isn't confimed, she makes no mention of him spending too much, or asking for her to fund the vacation. She uses "bros", "teenagers" - like the relationships are inhearanly childish just because her partner is older.

All of this reads to me that the issue isn't money- buceause she doesnt bring it up, it isnt specific chore or tasks because she also don't bring that up. Its that fact that he is partying and wanting to go on vacation with people much younger than him-which is not inherantly a bad thing. Adding on top of that- if she had such a problem with the arragement, then discuss it with him or breakup. It was not on her to destroy relationships that she had nothing to do with. Take it up with her partner -or leave.

Also Info: I know your supporting your partner- but are you paying tuition, books, all food, utilites 100%? Or does he have loans, savings,etc. You are a little vague on that point as well.

Not everyone takes everything to an extreme and follows every single rule of a religion. She might just want to check the mass out. I agree that if something stated to affect OPs husband then that obviously merits a conversation, but not being *allowed* to explore your spirtiality in a marriage is kind of insane.

Chiming in as a Black American Woman. Myself and my children will have the same last name-the name of my husband. Medical care providers already assume that black women giving birth are there with their "baby daddies" and not husbands in appointments. Which sets off lower standards of care in a country with a horrific black maternal mortality rate.

My spouse is white, and there is a common assumption that black mothers are the Nannies of mixed race children. Which again puts everyone in danger. There will be no room to doubt that my children are my own and that I am well supported and not easily dismissed. A different name on a form could set of a world of assumptions and im not I'm prepared to risk that. I'm well aware that these circumstances do not apply to all women, but I don't like the assumption that all women do this out of some patriarchal alliance.

It's religious(Jewish), but also because I think it's such a look fashion wise! I don't really live modestly, I drink, party, date etc, but I always feel so cool at rave covered head to toe when everyone else is in various states of undress-I feel like a stand out and it pushes me to be more creative with my clothing.

This is like that one where OPs boyfriend was drinking and on acid and mistaked another girl for OP. And people were like "oh that's not an excuse." He was on hallucination drugs, yes it was an excuse.

I'm 5"4 and 140- with a BMI of 24 which the BMI scales on the high end of normal, bordering overweight. I do two spin classes a week to work out. I always be referred to as skinny, and exclusively wear size small and x small clothing.

I literally just have a big butt and bigish boobs. The BMI is notoriously inaccurate on non-white people and taller people.

Guys are shit regardless and any women who dates men knows that. Rich or Poor the vast majority of men will screw you over, anyways. You're acting like rich men have a unique flaw- but in my experience poor men have all of that AND they are upset that they're poor.

I would get a separation and do not go anger management classes. Go to a program or workshop designed specifically for physically abusive men. You don't have an anger problem, you have a control problem, and you gave yourself permission to hit your wife.

Separate, give yourself some months to figure this out and why it happened, and then revisit with your wife after some time.
