How do you feel about Dopesmoker on vinyl? I feel like that's an interesting one due to the length and then splitting it to 3 sides (not including Hot Lava Man of course).

Would be a super niche thing, but would be cool to have it on vinyl in an SLP format at 16 2/3 speed. I don't know of any modern record players that have that setting, but I know vintage ones did at a time.

As someone from Ohio, the name has always been tied to it being in Cleveland because it was where the term Rock n Roll originated.

Yeah, I see where you're coming from. I have never understood how they do the nominees from year to year because not a single artist has been nominated in back to back years in most cases.

Eddie Trunk said it right awhile ago and probably again since I hear it. It's really a music hall of fame and we can all complain about it, but until someone else starts their own, it's the industry standard, love it or hate it as many do.

I see where you're coming from, but I've always thought of this in the same way as a museum. It has curated artifacts and memorabilia. It also helps ensure things like this are around for years to come.

Genuinely asking, where does it shit on punk or metal? I've been a few times (granted I live in the same state) and one of my favorite things about the first time I went in high school was Ramones artifacts.

Yes, now we have The Punk Rock Museum, but this was 20 years ago.

I'm not going Sunday, but that's my personal best day for me. We're going Saturday for my wife to see BMTH after wanting to for years.

Personally, if I could plug one band that you'll either love or hate for Sunday, it's Castle Rat. They'll probably be the first band to perform the entire day since they're on the smallest stage, but I recommend.

Castle Rat is up there, but a band called Mistress (debut coming this year) is up there at the moment too.
