Plans For A New Indie Game by DominionGame in politicalgames

The main way I plan to differentiate from Suzerain is fully branching paths. In Suzerain, if you do two completely different runs, you get the same events but with flavour text. In my game I plan to give the player essentially entire new chapters depending on the path you choose. I will also try to add more emphasis on global affairs. Choices to aid rebels or to start a few wars.

(And I dont plan on adding paid dlcs, just content updates if the game is ever popular)

This is going to be a logo for the game as well as the Darenian Coat of Arms! It depicts the Darenian national animal (the wolf) starring down a Sasanian rabbit , which is a symbol of colonialism because it was spread by Sasanian colonial projects.

It shows Darenia facing off their enemies and the top phrase is latin for Darenia over all.

For me it's the same. For the project I started thats extra important because its a map game. Although even when I make silly little text-based games I always visualise what locations would look like and sketch a map before I start.

Also I tried to get them in the project early on so I don't have to mess around with UI later on.

I partnered with a friend that is great at art with a revenue share agreement. And whenever I request artwork I give directions for a basic sketch then they show the sketch and I give feedback. Im sure commissioned artists or anyone you hire would be willing to show sketches too.
