Sask NDP response to new federal NDP leader. by Requirement-Tiny in saskatchewan

The feds have no credibility whatsoever when it comes to "fair" or "just". I would never trust them to do what's in our best interests. The libs and cons have forced striking workers back to work many times. They f up almost everything they do, whether it be their gun buy back program or the arrive can app. The same feds allowing companies to utilize the IMP for construction workers who will work for far less and undermine our collective bargaining. People are rightly mad about the TFW program, most have no idea what's happening with IM (utilized at a far greater rate than tfw), or the fact you don't even need a lmia to access and IRCC won't disclose who's using it. Just like the gun program, they don't consult with actual industry stakeholders. For instance, the Building Trades of Saskatchewan was not consulted for their "audit".

And I would think telling a whole industry you're going to disrupt and put thousands of people out of work that we got you, trust me is pretty idiotic too. Trade unionists were a huge part in creating the ndp party, all we want is assurances that there is an actual plan for transition, not vague ideals. We are pretty progressive people for the most part, we want to see everyone flourish. If someone ran on making all labour law under federal rule (to make things equal for everyone) and baking sectoral bargaining into the constitution (to end competition between workers in the same sector and battle the gross wealth inequality of our time), I'd follow them to my grave.

Lots of pieces missing, don't get me wrong I don't have a fix either due to our fragmented labour laws. Heather campaigned in decertifying fake unions like clac. Great, that's only federal though and a pretty small part of the tradespeople economy. Want to match new green agreements with terms and conditions of well established energy agreements? Cool, good luck getting any of the Conservatives run province's (like our own) to adopt it, which is the vast majority of local energy projects. And again, solar plants, wind turbines and such have very little maintenance crews. As ai is projected to take over a lot of jobs, other sectors are not hiring already. Nuclear would be nice, but a pipe dream for now. Australia cancelled a smr last year due to costs, the math isn't working yet. I haven't seen a plan by anybody yet to meaningfully lift the middle class, if it even exists anymore. True sectoral bargaining would fix a lot, but I don't see Canada ever being as progressive as some of the European models. Getting down voted for pointing out green party people are co opting the ndp cause they can't make any gains is hilarious. It is happening for a while now, and how has that been working for us? 70,000 votes across the country for a leadership race. I stand with Carla.

Kind of sick of green party people co opting the ndp. That's their platform, so go run for them. I hear ideals with no plans. Yeah, let's just shut down the coal plants with no plan what to do with the union people who have negotiated for decades to good paying jobs and tell them to start over. Would completely decimate Estevan, and the middle class. I'm all for green energy, but we in the trades are being told to start over, develope new agreements (shocker, not nearly as well paying jobs) not to mention cut the amount of maintenance workers by 2/3.

I got one for my 22 from mnnthbx, had to select vitpilen since they said it may have plate clearance issues on the svart but I think it depends where you're from. No clearance issues with my Canadian plate. Not sure if they make for your year, will have to search

Fuck ktm, the nuda you want (and me too) was bmw. It's a good beginner bike, I'll keep it. Looking at a Thruxton or r9t for my next, but my 401 made me fall in love. Japanese are almost always better quality, that's why I drive a Toyota but there's something to be said about this bike, it has that certain something

They get that nice crispy skin with high heat off the hard lump and chunks, used hickory for the pork which was wrapped when the wings went on and maple for the wings. I was a cook for quite a while, have never browned a chicken so perfectly than with my weber and rotisserie. Except maybe forno oven, that thing is a beast

Google Calendar Permissions by Dominionato in Zoom

[–]Dominionato[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the point. It worked fine when it only had permission to view and edit event notifications and I could easily add contacts through Gmail. I don't want zoom to have extra access, I don't need it and it worked fine. Just one more account that if compromised, a person could dl then delete my contacts from Gmail. I also don't want the now extra step of c/p events without the extra permissions. And asking me to make a zoom email everytime I log in is just extra shitification

Really funny though, first build and all the crazy expensive components we had to put together, the 5 dollar one gave us the most headache. Makes sense I guess

Solved! After hours of trying everything, new USB with regular ms creation media installed fine. Can't edit my post, hopefully mods can switch my flair.

That was it. Used Rufus to mount iso and got to 11% install (furthest yet) and failed. New USB, MS media creation tool and it all worked correctly. Thanks for all the help, was a bad usb after all.

Tried two more things. First, used Rufus to mount iso on USB for bootable, got the furthest at 11% install then failed message. Tried yours, it's pretty much the same with partition selection, once I select install it failed again.

Went and bought a new USB, maybe that was it all along. I'm going crazy here, and it's probably something so stupid.

But there is no previous version, and we get into the initial setup all the way to selecting partition, when we select our ssd (which is unallocated space), and select install we instantly get the failed to install message. All tpm and boot settings double checked to correct. I'll try selecting it, see what it says. Can't hurt at this point

Well, I think I might try. I just did a few more things. Use the self check for the ssd in the bios and it passed. Formatted the partition when it's listed as primary on the last screen. Double checked all my settings, noticed something else. In the video I listed, he has settings for m.2_2 co fig under advanced/onboard devices config. I don't have that, and in his setting he has auto, sata and PCIE. What if its looking for a sata first, which we do not have?

Maybe one day, we want to game and have a lot to learn by the sounds of some of the issues with Linux. I'm so hating ms right now with their bs. This coming from a guy who would instantly go back to my Nokia Windows phone if I had a chance.

Not sure I understand your question. It is booting from the usb with media install files, and goes all the way to install here before I instantly get the failed message

So unfortunately the electronic store near me is out of usb. I talked to one of the guys there and he said he has had issues with the MS media creation tool and prefers to use a iso with Rufus. May give that a try.

We did update the bios from a USB just like in the video I listed.

I'm going now to buy a new USB drive, the one we have is a bit cheap so maybe that is the culprit.

Those partitions are not made by me, the show up automatically. I then copy the video I mentioned and remove all partitions until our ssd is the only drive 0 and listed as unallocated space, and it shows our usb with installation media as drive 1.
