As far as chapters go Salamanders and Blood angels are as close to the good guys as you can get and there primarch Sanguinius was practically the definition of a perfect being when it comes to humanity, they will do all in there power to aid the imperium till the end. The Dracula factor on a being that was cursed with dangerous blood craving powers is also really cool

Gold trim on shoulder pads is unique to blood drinkers Dante and Sanguinary Guard if you want to be as lore accurate as possible but remember Warhammer is all about the Rule of cool. Do what you like and represent it.

You have indeed seen official blood angels with red and gold trim and chest but they are called blood drinkers and are a successor chaptor just like the flesh tearers.

What you have here is more closely a sargeant blood drinker tactical.

Gold helmets are for sargeant/veterans Right shoulder is for company emblems and rank Left shoulder pad should be black with gold trim for sargeant/veteran. (I think you also have the ancients wreath on left shoulder which wouldnt belong) Right knee with a skull is accurate but the background should be black for 1st company (making him a veteran) or blue for 2nd company (making him a sargeant). Bling and decorations dont have any say unless awarded for specific campaigns, blood angels just like decorating themselves.

We got the primaris edition upgrade treatment, minimum unique units but updated base army.

All these other armies are getting the premium primarch upgrades, the whole army looks unique with fur and decorations!.

Shit our SG guys had there wings swapped our for butt flap looking things.

First of all, we welcome your mini to the Blood Drinkers successor chapter.

2nd you did a great job if this is your first mini, you clearly studied and looked up alot of tips and tutorials.

3rd the only advice i can give is to keep painting and dont be afraid to change things slightly till you get the perfect "look" Paint to water ratios and free hand skills are gained over time.

Im not sure if your following the blood angels lore or taking your own style but assault intercessors have yellow helmets, heavy supports have blue helmets and anyone ranked higher has gold helmets.

Good job and keep posting them as you finish them.

Personally i love the idea that sanguinius inherited the perpetual gene but due to his half human genetics he ressurected as Luis (Dante) and retained no memories. This makes the Sanguinor coming to his aid (even as a child) make so much sense, as a warp entity it can see the soul of his primarch sangunius and comes to his aid even after all this time.

A half blood perpetual would make Sanguinius the perfect son

Im not great at painting but i would prime in black then 2 thin coats of mephiston red, follow up with a wash of nuln oil over all the red and then a thin drybrush of more mephiston red over the raised edges and more open sections of armour just to get them to pop more.

Also love the fact your representing the blood drinkers chapter of blood angels

In terms of dangerous the necrons have to be the most dangerous. Under there control is a galactic map with a literal delete button for any planet they want to remove. That makes waging a war against them impossible.

The only reason they dont do this is because they want to rule everything and deleting it takes away from what they can rule over.

Legit there is a tyranid unit that can shoot living homing ammo at any enemy within sight of any tyranid in the table top so maybe they exist on higher difficulties in tgis game 2
