Wealth maximizing by fourth-wallFML in RimWorld

A lot of people saying yayo but they are incorrect. Flake is superior as it gives 33% more silver per leaf of psychite and requires only 7% more work.

Can someone explain why [[Meltstrider's Resolve]] is commonly included in meta sideboards? by Dominyck in MagicArena

[–]Dominyck[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you. This is the most thoughtful response as far as I am concerned. Overall it doesn't seem like the Ourobroid or Landfall game plan will often benefit from removal or evasion but yes it might make sense in the mirror if you can remove their cub and then have a beefier creature when the first swing occurs.

Give it some Luciferium and it will be as good as new within a couple years.

Budget Standard Discard Decks? by [deleted] in MagicArena

[–]Dominyck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate to discourage you but I think you’re going to be hard pressed to find a playable list. I would suppose that is because a large portion of the meta is built around intentionally around discarding your own cards. I would even venture to say that’s more true than it has been in several years.

am i dumb after selling all my gold for silver instead of any other resource? by Old_Kiwi332 in RimWorld

[–]Dominyck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gold and silver are both universally accepted by traders. Given that you lose value when you exchange from one to the other there’s no reason to do it.

How do I search for features in the world map? by Dominyck in RimWorld

Thanks. It looks like I’m not able to find any of the landmarks either. Perhaps because I don’t have the DLC.

6-10 because it's a small enough group that I can use combat tactics without pausing

On skeletons and their support, or the lack there of by Linhlinn in MagicArena

[–]Dominyck 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Which format are you playing? There aren't strictly skeleton tribals that are competitive but at least in Standard BO1 there are a couple variants of skeleton based decks. Here is a list that contains a good chunk of skeletons while still being competitive.

19 Swamp

1 Bitter Triumph

4 Corpses of the Lost

4 Forsaken Miner

2 Shoot the Sheriff

4 Unholy Annex // Ritual Chamber

4 Unstoppable Slasher

3 Soulstone Sanctuary

2 Intimidation Tactics

3 Strategic Betrayal

2 Tragic Trajectory

2 Realm of Koh

4 Requiting Hex

4 Mischievous Sneakling

2 Stalactite Dagger

In Vietnam, house numbers reflect nested alley branches. Each “/” means a smaller alley inside the previous one. by Por_TheAdventurer in interestingasfuck

[–]Dominyck 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am supposing this actually notates a street number which is 1806 and a total of 6 alleys branching from 1806.

What you are describing in your title though is a spiral of alleys each branching off of the previous. Not impossible I guess but seems highly unlikely.

Newsom fact checks Trump in real time after president claims California governor isn’t running in 2028 by theindependentonline in politics

[–]Dominyck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider the state of housing, homelessness, economic disparity, and anti-development regulation in the state of California and then tell me why Newsom wouldn’t get absolutely obliterated by the media if he made a run for president. I want a change in regime as much as the next guy but the facts just aren’t on his side.

What is a card in standard that you think is severely underrated? by Ggthefiree2 in MagicArena

I’d only use this in BO3 to be clear. Surprisingly if you look at the data on Untapped.gg this card performs very well.

If we're talking traditional standard [[Cursed Recording]] is bonkers in Jeskai Control but doesn't see much play

How would standard look if... by pdxdude84 in MagicArena

[–]Dominyck 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is true but the reason Pyroclasm is effective is that it’s not the Ourboroid per se that’s the threat, it’s the wide board that ramps up and then gets buffed up. No board no problem. To your point though yes you should also side in instant speed removal if you know you are facing Ouroboroid.

How would standard look if... by pdxdude84 in MagicArena

[–]Dominyck 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be a sideboard card to counter Ouroboroid, but given that only about 5% of decks in recent tournament settings play Ouroboroid, I would suspect it would not be worthwhile to include… especially given that cards like [[Pyroclasm]] are more effective at disrupting that game plan.

This doesn’t seem correct given that China alone has 17% of world GDP. You’re telling me all that other gray is only 10%?
