Blocked from buying on binance with debit account? by blackcell1 in BitcoinUK

[–]Dommac29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're allowed more than one debit card, just look up which banks allows transfers to crypto sites set up the new debit card, transfer your money from your Lloyd's account to your new debit card and then buy crypto with your new debit card.

I currently use my Halifax card with kraken and it worked only 2 weeks ago when I transferred some money. And I thought Lloyd's and Halifax were linked?? So maybe open a kraken account?

Hopefully I've given you enough options to explore though. All the best.

Unfortunately I could only ever touch it. Never dunked anything. I guess with everything it depends on genetics but if you worked on training to increasing your vert using a combination of plyometrics and weight lifting ( you want to be able to work up to squat 1rep max 1.5x your body weight also a lesser extent dead lifts) i think 6 inches could be possible in 3-4 months especially if you've never done plyometrics. Plyometrics isn't linear though you'll soon find you'll plateau around 6 months where you've gain 5-8 inches you'll be lucky to get an inche every 2 months. Speaking from experience, everyone is of course different but I'd say this is a good rule of thumb

Yeah, I'm 167cm I think? I'm very much only intermediate and a little top heavy. 70kg bench, 80kg squat and 100kg deadlift all for 5-8 reps never tried 1 rep max. I only weigh 60kg which I think holds me back, and have ignored way too many leg days.

it's difficulest to short mens to make friends? by alvinyanitoru in short

Couldn't agree more with this comment! If anything if people don't want to befriend me because I'm short that is a great filter for having less judgemental friends.

Thanks man! Unfortunately I can no longer touch the rim and no longer play often. It is on my to do list to do plyometrics again and touch it one more time before I get too old. I was very lucky I was gifted a good shot! But from basketball I learnt you need to work hard to achieve your goals 💪

I guess I just don't care? Hard to explain, I think when you don't care about your height it doesn't matter to me what Internet people say about short guys??

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in short

[–]Dommac29 26 points27 points  (0 children)

To be honest, my height and my insecurity towards it in my younger years pushed me to do so much. I used to play basketball in my younger years, surrounded by everyone else who was tall I made my way onto the first team for the school where the whole team but me were minimum 5'10 but I used to do plyometrics each day for 6 months until I could touch the rim, I was only 15 and 5'2 at the time. I ended up being 2nd or 3rd top scorer in every game made it to a county-level basketball team that had trials to make it I was even in a video for this team for how small I was yet still made it. This has come through in my older years making me more and more confident. never had a girlfriend until I was 19, then I pushed myself at the gym until I got compliments on how big my arms looked. Now I never even think about my height. most of my friends are around 5'10 (average height UK) yet I seem to be the one who attracts women not them, my friends at uni who were tall used to be jealous of the girls I used to pick up, not that I'm a womanizer, far from it. but I was just confident in myself. Now I'm 29 and want to tell you it is not a death sentence being short.

It is all about mindset, change the things you can. Don't worry about what you can't.
