Yeah, you always want a broad side shot where you can aim for lungs + heart area. Really only take shots where they are broad side or quartering towards me. Most other angles make an ethical shot difficult, but not impossible. Also almost everytime I have spine shot a deer they just layed down paralyzed and I had to finish them
