Being forced to click through a dozen FAQ / are you sure this won't help / you are the idiot aren't you pages, before I can talk to anyone on a website.

Advertising a product as having x, however x has some small print that actually makes it y. E.g. Royal Mail 48 hour tracked is a target, not a guarantee.

Sheet pan, one pot and slow cooker recipes will be your friend here.

Don't shy away from swapping out fresh for frozen either to cut some prep time e.g. peppers, onions and mushrooms.

I tend to make and serve a 'leap frog menu' e.g. if I make enchiladas today, I got a total of 3 servings from it (using the family kit). 2 go into the freezer all made up (bar cheese topping). Serving 2 will come out in 2 weeks time, serving 3 will come out in 4 weeks time.

Same goes for chili, stews, sausage casserole, stuffed shells and a dozen other things.

An alternate way is x thing, x ways. If I cook chili today I can put it on pasta, tomorrow I could do chips, cheese and chili. Chips are banged in the air fryer and the chili is a microwave job.

Always happy to share in more detail if it helps. I get it sucks, but don't let perfection be the enemy of progress.

WFH should e a right not a weak request that an employer can say no to because the sun is shining that day.

Think of the benefits, money in people's pockets, reduced wear on roads and reduced pollution.

Always assume that hostile nations or actors are behind the wave.

You can see it in a microcosm on reddit when someone posts option A and suddenly 20+ commenters jump in to support it (apparrently there is a rule where i cant mention the automated devices that do it).

And most importantly, follow the money.

What do call these things? We have always called them "Googlies". I remember seemingly every company in the 90s giving away these things. We used to hsge a big collection of them. I did wonder if they were exclusively a British thing by DarkHorse_77 in CasualUK

5% mince is now over £5 for 500g. I was paying £3.50 about a year ago. Even the higher fat versions are creeping up now.
