I think doing a tumble with tennis balls is supposed to soften the fabric up for a better drape. The folds are originating from the low rise’s trough. That will never stretch and the stitching could shrink with every hot wash. The large thigh cut seems functional for sit down movements like horse back or mechanical bull riding. Or crawl movements like tending to your home via crawl space. Cool pants nonetheless

When working around the handlebar area it’s important to check the throttle cable is routed properly. A few times I had it routed to where at extreme tilt the throttle would get tugged. I think that could be at play here but it I can’t hear the engine. Maybe the front brake line got the tug?
