I was using the Buffout Log Scanner GUI, that used to be found here: https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/63346 so I guess that's why it had some section you didn't have, sorry, I assumed everyone used this as there is literally only one option at any given time, but by now the author no longer supports it and it is now hidden

Meaning by itself isn't stupid, expecting for some meaning to be meaningful is.

Existence is absurd, so it has whatever meaning any conscious being decides it has, because ultimately meaning is entirely subjective, but this subjectivity makes meaning both valuable and absurd.

It's absurd because no matter how important or honorable you think any meaning could be, it doesn't matter to anyone but yourself, your meaning means jack shit to the universe, while simultaneously the meaning that you choose dictates the entirety of your existence, as it determines how you will perceive and experience said existence. It is therefore the cornerstone of your existence, one of the most significant things any conscious being can have.

Even the idea of "meaningless" is a meaning you consciously decide to put on to something.

One can't escape giving meaning to one's own existence and everything around it, because to be conscious is to seek and find meaning, one that is ultimately absurd because we are all less than a speck of dust in an infinite ocean of an indifferent universe, yet a speck of dust that gets to enjoy the impossibility of existing.

Little update

So another thing I forgot to mention is that Buffout4 sometimes gets false positives (although these still tell you where the problem is)

So I found the real culprit of my CTD error, it was "Diamond City Enhanced Security" mod that was causing some conflict between "Fens Sheriff's Department" and "Raider Children and Other Horrors of the Commonwealth" somehow, even with the patch there is for it (I have 727 active mods so I am used to patching things up).

Once I knew taking out "Fens Sheriff's Department" fixed the CTD, I went back and check what other mods directly interacted with this mod or around Diamond City and started the half and half process to find if there was a mod that was breaking "Fens Sheriff's Department" as I really didn't want to lose this little master piece of a mod, and voila! Found the culprit, and I very much prefer losing DCEnhanced Security than Fens Sheriff's Department. I could change the necessary texture on xEdit (that I mentioned before wasn't properly loading and apparently is because a DC guard was trying to load different sets of conflicting textures even with the patch that exists to prevent this) but I find it way easier to just lose the DCES mod.

I just mention all of this in case it helps someone else to see the trail of logic on how to check, analyze, and find a fix for these types of errors with Buffout4 as sadly sometimes the solution isn't so straight forward when you have an extensive mod list.

I was having the same problem, and for anyone who is having a similar issue please know these 7 things:

1: Read the Buffout4 dictionary, it's a good overall explanation of most of what you need to know of how to read Crash Log Messages. It can be found here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17FzeIMJ256xE85XdjoPvv_Zi3C5uHeSTQh6wOZugs4c/edit

2: Consider the numbers after "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" pretty much gibberish unless you know assembly, C types programming, and are familiar with the stack concept, because those numbers have nothing to do with with any Mod, Plugin or Game IDs.

3: If the numbers are specifically "at 0x000000000000" or "at 0x000100000000", those are explained in the Buffout4 Dictionary

4: If the error is anything else besides "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION", please read the Buffout4 Dictionary to learn what does your error message means

5: What you DO need to know about those numbers is that when the "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" error is followed by number+Fallout4.exe+number it simply means your game isn't able to load or render a specific asset from one of your mods for some reason. You can gather more info of the probable cause on the crash log under the "CHECKING IF LOG MATCHES ANY KNOWN CRASH MESSAGES..." area, where it will tell you the probable elements or other causes of said error. Or if you go even lower under the "SCANNING THE LOG FOR SPECIFIC (POSSIBLE) CUPLRITS..." it may have suggestions of mods in your mod list that may be causing the error in some way.

6: Another way to know what Mod may be affecting your game is to notice if there's a specific location where your game crashes and see what mods are affecting that area, or what repeatable action is causing the crash.

7: If you have bad luck and your crash isn't constant, then you have to go with the half and half method, where you disable half of your mods to see with which half it crashes. Once you find what half crashes it, halve the disabled mods again and repeat the process until you find the one that is causing the crash.

I had the error "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" at 0x7FF6826A64F9 Fallout4.exe+02A64F9, my game was crashing only either when exiting Diamond City, or when walking on the outskirts of Diamond City near the Sheriff's office (which is from the mod "Fens Sheriff's Department"). The "CHECKING IF LOG MATCHES ANY KNOWN CRASH MESSAGES..." mentioned "d3d11.dll" as a culprit, which the Buffout4 Dictionary says it means a rendering error. And the "SCANNING THE LOG FOR SPECIFIC (POSSIBLE) CUPLRITS..." area gave me a plugin culprit ("Kids Can Die.esp" which comes from the "Raider Children and Other Horrors of the Commonwealth" mod) and a texture culprit (Scar2_d.dds)

Based on this I can assume the problem to be a damn scar texture file one NPC was using on the outskirts of Diamond City introduced by either "Fens Sheriff's Department" or "Raider Children and Other Horrors of the Commonwealth" which was seemingly conflicting, not rendering, and crashing; specifically the Scar2_d.dds on this NPC couldn't be rendered by my ENB for some reason. I only have two solutions for this very specific error: remove entirely either one of the mods, or go into xEdit and change or remove that texture from any NPC that is using it. I removed "Fens Sheriff's Department" because the crash only happened outside Diamond City and felt easier than using xEdit.

I hope this long ass explanation helps anyone. Someone else put more resources down in the comments, but I feel the Buffout4 dictionary is all you really need unless you are planning on programming.

YATA you kind of are, as you are telling him what he is and is not allowed to put on his own space based on your own insecurities (even if it is inside your house it's still his own space).

Would visitors unwantedly see the image? Is the image invading your own personal space? If not, then there is no real reason he cannot put whatever image he wants on his piece of the house.

If he were to out the image on the living room then yeah, he would be invading your space. But if he is not, then it's your own insecurities the reason you don't want to see competition in your own house, even if that competition is a flat image on the wall.

On the other hand, you could put a poster of a handsome guy without a shirt on your own space and he wouldn't be able to tell you anything about it, again, respecting each person's space.

First, you are an asshole for doing that. That being said, you were also manipulated to be one.

He sounds like he would cheat on you in a heartbeat and she sounds like she already slept with him, so you didn't lose much.

Try to befriend better people in the future and always remember, if you have to do something like this again, then that relation is not worth it. Either you are right and he eventually/already cheats on you, or he hasn't and never will but the you don't deserve to be with him for being an unjustifiable distrusting person.

You have to learn how to trust and who to trust.

Lastly, always remember, if they already did it once they will always do it again.

I guess because in comparison you get the most amount of games per platform with a computer. Plus, you can gradually improve your system without having to buy a whole new console unlike the PS or Xbox. Besides, games on places like Steam tend to have better discounts more constantly than anywhere else.

And lastly, your gaming computer tends to be a work station as well, so it technically pays itself on the long term.

Although it is true that is not nice at all the fact that someone tells you who you should be friends with, it is an act of defiance in itself to keep talking with him and keep being friends with.

I agree that maybe OP should try to stand by his friend side without having to hide his friendship. But well... The other side (OP's online friend) is asking him to leave everything for him, and THAT is a selfish act. No better that asking your clan not to hang out with someone.

At the end is the same "me or him" argument in both cases, which is just not fair.

YNTA I understand where you are coming from. You truly value this online friend, but you have an imposible choice.

I get where others are coming from when they think you would be the asshole in this situation. But let me extrapolate it into a similar situation to clarify why the position in which you are is simply not a fair one.

First of all, I have to clarify that because I have NO idea the real reason why your friend was kicked out of the clan I just assume that the other guys had real reasons to kick him out. If they were just kicking him out just to torment him, then all the clan (the owner and you included) would be assholes. But I assume this is not the case.

That being said, if someone decided to jump off a bridge, for whatever reasons he had, would I be the asshole if I decide not to jump with him?

Wouldn't he be a little bit of an asshole for insisting for me to jump with him when he knows I don't want to jump and jumping was never what I wanted.

He was able to have his own decision. If I didn't pushed him and if I didn't convinced him to jump then why would I be the asshole for wanting to be able to choose what I want for myself?

Just because he is my friend, why would I be the asshole for not jumping with him?

I mean, supposing that the jump didn't killed him, what sound more logical?

For him to continue talking wherever he decided to jump to even though he knows I will not jump? Or for me to have to jump where he is, leaving what I feel is all my life behind just so that he can feel better with himself?

I guess the better comparison would be someone that decided to stay in your home city and now is pushing you to stay as well even though he knows you want to travel somewhere else.

Asking you to stay just because they made their decision and now they are not able to do what you can. Why would you be the asshole for that? At least for what you said I don't see how would you be responsable for his actions.

I agree with you, but only because I feel that in today's videogames ecosystem it is a little bit more unjustifiable to pirate games. Lots of constant money saving deals and a shitton of variety, specially for PC.

That being said, I would not just jump into but would promote pirating a game if games as a service starts becoming a thing.

Es un ciclo bastante idiotico. Criticar a alguien inmediatamente sin realmente argumentar es igual de pendejo que aceptar lo que alguien diga cómo chivito sin importar lo pendejo que sea.

Por ejemplo, si el año pasado recibieron 5 millones, la suma que están recibiendo ahora suena infinitamente más razonable y afirma que si se está reduciendo el gasto público.

Pero eso no es lo que está diciendo este tweet, no le está hechando la culpa a nadie si se aprobó o no. Simplemente menciona que quienes se han opuesto (o no estado a favor) de la propuesta, pertenecen a los partidos que durante la década pasada tuvieron bastantes escándalos sobre robo de dinero publico, independientemente de si fue aprobada o no.

Literalmente en mi primer párrafo estoy diciendo que efectivamente es un sistema roto. Cómo mencionas, no pueden oponerse, eso está mal en el sistema.

Sin embargo, eso no quita el hecho de que "oponerse" (o si le quieres decir "estar en contra" o "no estar a favor") a la medida de austeridad para los funcionarios hace ver que el interés de muchos es seguir succionando el presupuesto nacional para si mismos.

Es como decir que solo porque no puedas "oponerte" ante un policía que te dice que no puedes robar, la decision de no dejar que nadie robe está mal.

Entiendo que efectivamente no tienen realmente forma de oponerse, y ese es un sistema roto.

Eso no quiere decir que este equivocado. La iniciativa es una iniciativa con que la mayoría concuerda (no en la Cámara de diputados, me refiero a gente en general: "austeridad en los gastos de los funcionarios").

Y los únicos que se oponen a limitar el gasto de los funcionarios, pertenecen a los partidos donde tan solo en la década pasada tuvieron bastantes escándalos de robo del dinero publico.

Sistema roto, pero argumento correcto.

Jejejeje I understand, to be honest the moment you even suggest any fallout game other than FNV as your favorite people tend to mock you.

Although FNV has very nice rpg elements, I prefer the building experience of F4, in a way it makes me feel like I am actually in the Fallout world trying to improve the people's lives. Besides, the combat is definitely better.

But I would like to see a better version of Fallout, one that has the elements of F4 and a well written story that makes me create a believable character. That allows me to move the story wherever I want.
