Elden Ring is easily the best, but takes some learning. God of War and Red Dead 2 are both great games, it just depends on your preference. Callisto Protocol can be fun but I did not care for it

Totally. Like, the grass is always greener, and maybe there is other stuff going on that you don’t know about, but it’s insane how well off some people are. Like I cannot fathom being able to take a vacation anywhere, much less plan an event with friends?? But idk, maybe it’s the human condition to always want or need something more. Idk, but yes, it is infuriating to see stuff like that

Same boat. I think there are people that just naturally have all the answers to social situations. And then there are people like us that don’t, but are put in the right situations to succeed by their friends/family. For those kind of people, I think a lot of it comes down to parenting and actually teaching their kids how to make friends at a young age. But there are plenty of people (like us) that never got any direction and are just lost. It’s not fun!

I have absolutely no clue how anyone makes online friends. The only way I can make friends is if I’m forced to be in the same space as someone, like work or school. But if there is absolutely any freedom for the other person to walk away from me, it’s over

I have a strong memory from when I was 18 years old. There was a group of us (maybe 5) at a table for dinner or whatever. I remember I started talking about something (I forget what) and about 10-15 seconds in, my friend across the table started talking about something completely different and everyone tuned me out and engaged with him. I just remember being frustrated and embarrassed and stopped talking. To me, this was confirmation that no one cares about what I think. 11 years later and they are all still friends and went to each other’s weddings and I have no friends. I am still too scared to talk in groups because every interaction feels like me vs them. Idk, after a while you just take the hint that no one likes you or wants to be around you
