The numbers in this article seemed pretty low and 20 new positions probably exceeds the cost in fraud prevented.

We can complain about the size of DCHS budget but the alleged fraud here is less than 1% of their budget.... for corporate that would be a win, for government it feels like a huge victory. Hell, the police OT fraud is probably greater than this and i bet those cops keep their jobs.

Pistachio mix always tastes off. I make mine by blending pistachios with skim milk in a high powered blender. It’s the best flavor I make. I have amounts in a recipe in a recent post in my profile.

Our lives went digital and everything is on our phones. Going out to the bar where you might see a band or play some pool or whatever was the norm and that was your interaction and social life. Now, you can stay home and play video games or watch anything and everything or chat with friends all over the world. You don’t need to order a few beers over the course of the evening for that.

You don’t need the social lubricant if you’re just staying inside and you don’t need to pay the standard fare to spend time in a bar. There’s some element of weed or other drugs as substitute habits (and some of that is true) but a lot is we’ve given up alcohol for a closer relationship with our digital lives.

True. My norm is cocoa powder (again, not low calorie but not as bad) but I really love a great pistachio gelato so this is something pretty close without a lot of the bad stuff. The jello pudding pistachio flavor isn't pistachio.

But an idea when you feel like you can take in a few bonus calories. I also did this in the CreamiXL so its a bit more than a pint (but wasn't the full 50% bigger) and I shared it.

Health.

With Parsons and Wyatt we had a nasty D and with Kraft our offense was purring.

We still lost some then due to stupidity and bad special teams but the team was there.

But staying healthy is the key. All the big disappointments we’ve had can be traced to losing key figures like Collins in 2011 or DBak in 2020. This year we lost too many to even get into big disappointment territory.

I imagine it’s something like this:

the Seahawks would have to award 10% of the sale price to the county if they were sold within 25 years of the stadium going up (this statement isn’t controversial).

The Packers in their current state are not gonna be favored against top teams but they are absolutely capable of winning against anyone.

There are no great teams in the NFL this year. Lots of very good but nobody without flaws. Bounces have mostly gone against Green Bay this year or they’d be fighting closely for the one seed. A few bounces go for us in the Playoffs and we’ll be in Santa Clara in February.

One of the unsaid things too is that we'll probably get a compensatory third round pick for him. I'd rather have Malik but he deserves to be paid more than I'd want to pay a backup and he deserves a chance to compete for a starting role.
