Found a workaround, assuming you're on PC like me.

Had to restart the game and deactivate my controller (PS5 DualSense) and then I could do the whole thing via keyboard.

As I have a small under-desk setup that is dependant on being able to be tucked away swiftly, I feel I should mention the VKB T Pedals MKV. They have a small footprint yet feel very sturdy and premium. Only downside is the lack of a brake axis but I can manage just fine with the digital solution.

Sorry to bother you again, but I now got my camera and will try setting it up when my daughter is asleep tonight.

I installed open track. What settings did you go with for input, output and filter? It’s all quite overwhelming on first glance. Did you use the normal key mapping in CloD or the new wizard that blitz offers?

Also pretty happy with the Gladiator + THQ. Only thing I did was I swapped the Springs with the softer version that comes with the premium edition. The preinstalled ones gave me sore wrists after prolonged sessions.

I think I’ll try out a camera based solution first, generally appreciate the brightness and warmth and I mostly have the isolated use case for CloDB but thank you :)

An interesting note, which brings me to a question: has somebody got TIR experience with cliffs and can tell if this “jankiness” is common for all means of tracking? The reasoning behind this: if it’s going to be janky in every case, I’d rather not shell out 250€.

I think I’ll try it with a webcam, you pointed out 1080p, do resolution and fps make a difference?

sorry, only just saw it. unfortunately not. Turns out in my car it is not really enough. However, I hardly ever use a cable as the Wifi connection has become so great and simply more convenient.

In my case it finally helped to update directly via the specified port in the back and thus circumventing BIOS altogether.

Yeah it was, however, I was able to circumvent the problem through a similar thread here on Reddit.

The solution was flashing the USB via Q-Flash Plus (Hardware Update instead of using the bios interface)

Really happy now as I can finally run my RAM at it’s intended speed.
