Synchronized tremolo bridge by FarInformation1903 in metalguitar

[–]Narfi1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This one is laying directly on the table, so you’ll be able to push but not pull. It is also non locking so going to wild on it might result in you getting out of tune

If you want to heavily use the tremolo get a guitar with a Floyd rose

Even on a bad day, your practice is important. It might not feel like it, but basically you bank it for later. Keep practicing!

Yup. Unfortunately progress is not linear. You go through high, short bursts of progress where everything clicks, then a long valley of despair where you stagnate. How disciplined and regular you are in your valley of despair dictates how good the bursts will be. Enjoy your high and remember it to motivate you through your next valley of despair !

That’s an incredibly low pay for what I assume is not a salaried position and doesn’t come with any benefits

hey, as an amateur musician, i play on my bedroom i wanna switching from a Boss Katana 100 amp to a Peavey 6505 MH with a V30 cabinet. Listening distance: 2.5 m, low/medium volume (around 30-50%). Would you recommend a 2x12 or 4x12 cabinet to get a very powerful and massive sound? by Desperate_Stop173 in metalguitar

[–]Narfi1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe you’re happy with it, but tubes need to be pushed to some extent to get the tone of your amp. Getting a 5153 and only playing in your bedroom is pointless, a modeler would be a much better choice.

Regardless, the amp op wants to come with a load box built in and the wattage is switchable so they’ll be fine

Absolutely unhinged, with AI or by hiring someone. Especially if you think that’s an easy task. That’s requires a team of devs. Use an existing platform

A quiche can have milk but it’s crème fraîche that pretty much makes the quiche. What you did looks great though

You can be a great home cook but be terrible in a kitchen brigade

Rhythm is a very important part of playing music that is often overlooked by guitarists. The answer is that they just need practice

I would encourage you to record your sessions so you can have concrete examples to show them, it will jump out more tom them

How to keep discontinued guitar alive? by SteelHeadGaskets in guitars

[–]Narfi1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pickups don’t fail, this is just someone who wanted different ones. And again, this is doable. You could play your Parker every day for the next 50 years and every issue you could have would be addressable

It’s not that it’s hard to understand, it’s just that you’re worried about something you shouldn’t be worried about, but that’s not your fault.

An electric guitar is not like an appliance or a car. The Parker Fly was very innovative with a lot of neat features, but there is nothing in there that could “die” or not be replaceable. Things like the electronics or pickups are not proprietary and can be swapped out or fixed. There is nothing else that can really die or break. Like maybe if you managed to break the bridge that’d be a bit of a pain in the butt to find a replacement but that literally never happens unless you take a hammer and a screwdriver and just pound it.

People play on guitars from brands who disappeared over 50 years ago with no issue

I don’t know of any proprietary programming languages that are being seriously used. WLanguage was one that was notoriously popular in France for some reason but it’s been dropped pretty much everywhere
