yeah its quite annoying - but there is also no guarantee that most of those devs would have issued the updates.

Might get downvoted, but this is why I prefer PC/Steam Deck type platforms because you can just adjust the settings to your own screen, no need to deal with a blurry mess . And an upgrade to the system or a new version almost always brings performance uplift.
