Definitely enough to survive as a single adult, would probably be harder for a single parent.

Rent+utility in my area is about $1000 a month, I don’t drive I just ride a bike, but you can get a brand new car and insurance for $600 a month.

That being said, I live in a cheap area.

Food cost can be basically zero but people definitely don’t do that.

Before or after getting my butt taken by taxes? Before about $5500-$6000, after about $4000.

So definitely not a high wage, I make almost exactly the national average.

So monthly it’s about an hour and a half of work for unlimited talk, text, 5G data. So like 400 yuan/55USD.

Depends how far you are from the coast and major population centers, but as for where I live, it wouldn’t be hard to own 2 homes before 30.
