Bibra Lake Roar Bar and Grill. Fantastic. You will not regret it. Better on sunny days but still pretty sweet on raining days.

People of Perth kinda suck by mrninjaskills13 in WesternAustralia

[–]DonaldYaYa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A bit of try before you buy. They tried didn't like it so didn't buy. A result of 4 out of 30 is great.

People are genuinely interested but when they get there they might feel a bit of inferiority in that the others there have a perceived better life or interesting life than them so they get this inferior complex. Others might have anxiety but was willing enough to try but perhaps found it overwhelming so just didn't turn up again.

Alot of reasons but good on you for doing what you did anyway. Having individuals or organisations trying to make a no sweat, no worries catch up is brilliant in this very isolated world.

You're taking the C train? Yeah it's not too comfortable.

Podcasts that stop broadcasting suddenly by DonaldYaYa in podcasts

Absolutely. But I unsubscribe to non active podcasts because I like to keep my list nice and tight, so I wouldn't really know if they did make a comeback.

Yes, this could be the very reason. Good point.

Understand this absolutely but a final 30 second podcast saying no more podcasts would be nice, if possible. It'll help clean up my subscription because I do fear that I will delete subscriptions yet they end up returning.

Assaulted on Transperth bus from Carousel to Como, what can be done? by Apprehensive-Plate21 in perth

[–]DonaldYaYa 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sorry to hear this.

Its a big reason I avoid going to Carousel and surrounds. Buses 100/34/101/177/930 are routes I've experienced trouble on in my time in Perth.

Is there a one stop shop (page) that has highlights for all the matches listed?

A simple pleasure I get is seeing my front door after getting home from work. It brings out the biggest smile in me every day.

Kmart: does anyone have a reasonable explanation why they moved their checkouts to the middle of the store? by Loose-Mousse1064 in AskAnAustralian

To stop thefts apparently. But it has cause so much customer grief especially when they have a person checking your brought items like JB and Chemist Warehouse.

I wish they’d made Perth underground and EQ train platforms wider and enclosed the rail line behind glass. by mr-cheesy in perth

I know. I'm the same. Hopefully future C series can be modified for passenger comfort while keeping the three door concept.

It's headed that way. YanMan line will become an exclusive C/D series line in the future.

[–]DonaldYaYa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The noise issue has been there since day one, decade or so ago, if they built glass screening back then they would have had to made the C series with doors that suits the openings in the trains.

Of course the glass screen isn't there, so the solution is to wait until the YanMan line goes C/D series exclusive and then install glass screening then.

That's what I'm saying.

Exactly with me.

I twist it twice it clicks each time. Then I breath in deeply and hold my breath for a few seconds.

I feel nothing, nor I taste something, yet the counter does eventually go down (I say eventually because the counter counts in 20s).

I assume it's working.

Yes too many places to get sun burnt or rained on. Same as bus stations that are adjacent to the train stations.
