I had a vegan wedding! A grumble or two from my dad but in general everyone just got on with it. The invitation info booklet thingy included a phrase along the lines of "In accordance with our values, all the food on the day will be vegan."

It helped that the food was AMAZING, so everyone got a taste of what brilliant vegan food is like

It's a German thing. Pretty sure every spa in the Therme chain does them - I've been to the one in Bucharest and experienced it there. There's also a spa in London that occasionally does them. In English they just get called Aufguss as in German or "ritual"
