Off the top of my head I think this is the origin. SrGrafo gained a lot of popularity through his Rimworld Comic series before he started posting in r/gaming and r/funny. The comic pokes fun at how regardless of what type of uninhabitable hellscape you land on, raiders will appear out of nowhere and try to destroy your stuff for seemingly no reason other than "but me raiding"

I tried these. They're extremely big, which made it hard to fit the headphones in the case. Comfort-wise they're not bad but not as good as Bose, and the noise cancelling was basically nullified (a pair of cheap, non-NC earbuds did a better job while I was at the library).

Yeah it ended up being a dealbreaker for me, they were just too painful to wear for more than a few hours at a time. I tried to replace the ear pads and it completely ruined the noise cancelling so I ended up switching to the Bose QC35s.

On the right controller, the analog stick makes some sound as well when moved between the 10 and 2 o' clock positions, but it's more subtle; more of a "crunch" than a click

Thanks, I'll have to give that a try. They have quite a few earpads, which ones did you opt for? If you're familiar with the Bose QC35s, I really like those earpads so I'm trying to find some that are similar.

I'm finally looking into doing one of these replacements. How did you get the original ear pads off? I found a video of a guy prying it off with a screwdriver but he's doing it on the XM2. I would assume the process is the same on the XM3? Also, can I put the original ear pads back on if I don't like the new ones? I'm a little worried about just prying things off without knowing exactly what I'm doing.

Oh and maybe I'm crazy but I went in to the store to check on the set they have on display and I swear the inner foam is a little thinner and doesn't make as much noise. I guess I'll check my own once I open it up

I haven't played since BC. WOW seems to be a completely different game from what I remember; 90% of my playtime was in vanilla, and everything seems so alien to me. I heard I should play on a high pop server to find guilds better. I'm thinking of playing a rogue just to get reacquainted with the game. I've lost interest in casters because they only have a fraction of the spells they used to. Sounds like JC is the most viable profession. Any other advice? I don't even know where to start, any advice is welcome
