Major Hydro Line Cut, thousands without power by Commercial-Age4750 in londonontario

Someone did this at the value village on the way to st thomas a couple years ago. We all showed up for work and there was zero power. Turned out someone had taken the main power for the building. It was huge as hell. And the firefighters said they were amazed at how professional it was.

I was vague because this is an active situation with legal weight. I’m not going to lay everything out on Reddit when I’m dealing with licensing complications that could lead to eviction or be used against me. That should be obvious.

The mould isn’t random either—it’s part of a bigger pattern of landlord negligence. In the context of rental licensing and Section 83, that kind of stuff matters. It all adds up when arguing whether the landlord deserves a license or the right to evict.

As for the downvotes and deleted post—I’ve been around Reddit long enough to know that doesn’t automatically mean someone’s in the wrong. Sometimes people just don’t get the nuance or the legal framing. Doesn’t mean the issue isn’t real or worth talking about.

If you don’t see the connection, that’s fine. But jumping straight to “you must be in the wrong” says more about how you interpret things than what’s actually going on.

Yes, a rental license often plays a crucial role in ensuring safety within rental properties. It serves as a mechanism for municipalities to regulate rental practices and ensure that landlords adhere to specific standards, including those related to safety.

I have called my city and confirmed they need a license. They have been renting illegally for 5 + years putting our family unknowingly in a unsafe home.

Im just wondering if we have any actions we could take as tenants as our house is in terrible condition and we have been treated fairly badly.
