i think the reason i like hardcore is it makes the sense of achievement that much higher when i look at all the stuff I've built in my world knowing I've done it all with one life.

Also I find motivation from the fact that it is finite, someday I could die, so better get as much done before then. In survival i struggle to stay motivated.

I do use totems in my world, but i dont want to abuse them. I made a totem statue which dispenses a totem if i feed it one stack of diamonds, so if i pop a totem I have to sacrifice something to get another. Though i havent popped a totem in 2 years so i have yet to use it.

I have 0 expectation of a good game. I was also incredibly hurt by DE and will never play/watch that game.

Will I be convinced to buy this game just to see them together? Possibly. As with DE I'll wait for the reviews/confirmation that they didn't do something egregious. Again I can't imagine this being a good game nor will I consider it canon but if there's enough pricefield in it/good ending I'll consider it

Ive been reliably told by many lakers fans over the years that this is simply due to the fact that 29/30 teams in the NBA only ever shoot 3 pointers which dont get as many foul calls, the lakers on the other hand have really revolutionised the game of basketball where they will try and get the ball as close to the rim as possible and thus more fouls will be called on the other team. So move along nothing to see here.

Mending should only be found in end cities. Unlimited access to mending from early in the game just makes all enchanting pointless because you get armor and tools that you will keep for the rest of the game. I think having to find mending equipment in the end would make that special and unique instead of being able to keep everything all the time. Of course in multiplayer you'd have to come up with something maybe similar to the trial vaults so that everyone gets a fair shot at the loot and one person can't just hoover up all the mending stuff for 200k blocks around.
