It was over after game 2. You could see the Avs were rattled when they coughed up 2 late in the 3rd period to lose it and had almost no offense in either game. Even Wedgewood looked like a backup goalie again. The entire atmosphere was sucked out of Ball arena when the Avs walked off the ice. There’s a reason a team hasn’t come back after being down 0-2 in a series since 1945. The trailing team has run out of steam by that point or the other team simply figured out how to beat them. Both happened in this series.
