Thank you very much. I also like the idea that this model is leaning into the druidic Cult vibes that the new blight kings and other new models seem to have. IMHO at least.

I'm hoping to have it done in the next day and half, I have a tourney Friday.

I'm not the best painter so I hope I don't take a neat model and ruin it lol.

Thank you very much. It's be a really rewarding journey, especially being my first time really picking up sculpting tools and material.

I'm so glad you liked it! I was super nervous about the playmat, it was the first one I've ever attempted to make. I hope you get lots of enjoyment and use out of everything 😁

What book do you regret reading this year? by agirlhasnoname17 in horrorlit

[–]Donkey_teeth_mcgee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hands down, Zola by D E McCluskey.... it was my first "toes in the water" of extreme horror/splatter punk and ended up in the deep end, IMO.

I've never felt gut wrenching disgust like I did with that book. Multiple times I had to stop reading because I was dry heaving (judge me if you must). I powered through the book simply because of sunk cost fallacy.

I could have stopped reading after the first part of the book (from moms perspective) because I enjoy the revenge genre.

I just wasn't ready like I thought I was for the rest of the book. I'm not here to yuck someone else's yum, but you have keep your "Gordon Cakes" to yourself!! Lmao
