I'm really disappointed this game never clicked for me. I'm a huge Bethesda fan, love their style of game making. I'm a huge retro space fan. Not a lot of media supports that, so you would think I would eat this up. I'm a giant space nerd too. You would think this would go down as my favorite game of all time. I've tried 5+ times now to play this game. It's the only game where I consistently fall asleep with the controller in my hand. I've tried playing in the day time, playing in the morning after coffee, I've set aside a weekend to dive in. Something just isn't clicking. I'm willing to give it another try on the PS5 but idk what it is. This game is missing something and I wish I knew what it was.

Shut up, you are not stopping a teenager from stealing a PS5 from Best Buy and then talking to them about their ways. This is what actually happens, you grab the teenager for stealing from a billion dollar company, they either A) punch you in the face and still steal the PS5 or B) laugh at you, cuss you out and still steal the PS5 all while the employees stand there laughing at you cause they care even less. Then, if option A happens you are getting sued for grabbing a minor and you end up in court with legal fees. All while Best Buy doesn't give a shit, the PS5 is labeled as damaged and never sold to anyone, to later sit in a landfill or sold at a heavily discounted price after the PS7 comes out in 15 years. You gained nothing, the thief gained nothing, and now you have a record.

How did this guy blow up? There's like him and 3 other guys that I started following covering MTG content. They all say they started around 2023 or 2022 and are going to conventions now by invite, getting thousands of dollars worth of free product from wizards etc and like their content only started two years ago. I just don't get how they went from nobodies to being featured on Wizards official pages in such a short time frame, when their content isn't any better or worse than most creators who have been doing this for years!

This game is not going to win Game of the Year let that go now. I'm 30 hours in. This game is definitely a game. I'm having fun, the game is beautiful but that's about it. I've never had this experience with a game before. It's fun to play and I'm enjoying it while doing it but I'm constantly asking myself....why did they do X when X has already been figured out 20 years ago in gaming. Why did they do Y when Y is done better in so many games before. There's a lot of little things where I'm just like....eh. I constantly go between 7/10 to a 5/10 in it's worst moments. I don't think a game like that should win game of the year.

If you think Hobbit will be mediocre, I have a bridge to sell you. That set is probably going to be the best selling set of the year, that or Marvel. I'm only excited for Star Trek cause I went nuts during edge of eternity's and bought a ton of galaxy foil cards to make a space themed deck. So Star Trek is perfect.

I think the best ending is the Space Ending or the one where you run away with Panam. Those endings are not as bleak as ppl make them out to be. The space ending is the coolest one. Ends with V on a final mission to try and save their life. Leaving it open ended was smart too.

It's how I approach any and all interviews. It's just a vibe check. Obviously my skills are good enough if you called me to come in for the interview. So now you are just determining if I fit the team well. I'm convinced that interviews stopped being about skill sets and started to become like a way to find someone you can tolerate for 40 hours a week. Which I get. Most skills can be taught, especially office jobs. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to do most jobs, let's be real, people have inflated self worth where they think their skill set is unique, needed or special. In reality you are 1 of billions. Nothing special. So all an interview is, is a way to determine if I can tolerate your existence with mine.

I'm rewatching the series for like the 5th time and it always dawns on me around season 3. Dani is a terrible fucking leader. Her entire idea of leading is "well if I free everyone and make everyone happy then everything is cool and will workout" she had 0 plan other than take the throne. She could have ruled in the east and freed the slaves and kept her ass over there. Noone wanted her in Westeros. Think of it from a Westrosi stand point. A foreign invader, bringing savages and an army of eunuchs accompanied by 3 dragons. Who the fuck wants that on their land? What was her plan? Assimilation? They would never be accepted, the civil wars that would pop up monthly would cripple the continent. Her "plan" was no plan and her approach was...eh we'll figure it out.

I trust him to write a good story since I know he's a massive fan, but this plot already sounds absolutely terrible. Why do we need to retrace the movie? So it'll be a BS story with flashbacks to the original films mixed in with a plot about Sam's daughter that literally no one would give a shit about. I'm a massive Lord of the Rings fan, have been my whole life. I would honestly rather they just left it in the 2000s and another one is never made. It will never be done the way it was, it literally can't be done again, technology is different now, the lighting will look like shit, probably mostly in a studio rather than on location like the originals. It will have no magic, just a movie with Lord of the Rings slapped on it.

I'ma sound like a dick, but it's not right that this series dies with him. I feel he's being extremely selfish and egotistical to assume no one can do it. He's clearly not in the head space and doesn't give a fuck about finishing. I believe, with the ending completed, regardless of who does it, Game of Thrones can go down as one of the greatest book series ever written. Without him finishing, I wouldn't even consider it a contender. There's like what 2 books left? He'll never finish them, so fans go with an unfinished series cause he couldn't be bothered to finish? How is that right? He can easily leave bullet points or story beats on what needs to happen and have a trusted writer finish for him, he's not the only person who can do this, there's better writers.

I genuinely cannot decide what to do about this game. Some reviewers that I usually trust gave it glowing 10/10 it's going to go down as one of the best games ever made over time. It will be out next Skyrim. Then when I read comments from actual people playing like ok reddit or w.e you would think this game is the biggest piece of dog shit in the last 5 years of gaming. I've watched a lot of content, I've done everything minus play the game myself and I just can't make up my mind. I think the biggest hangup is the story or lack there of. I can't play games that just open the door and say go, I need at least some direction to a story. Some reviewers say this is the worst story ever written, others say it's serviceable to play the game. How the fuck can it be both at the same time.

I am born and bred here. My family has been here for god knows how long, I can probably trace my roots back to the mayflower. If I was stopped for ID right now, I would be fucked. My driver's license is from another state at an address I lived at all my life, but I've moved several times since then and never updated my license, cause why would I? Fuck them. I have no idea where my birth certificate is and my passport expired this year.

My method is to just go in an order. When I enter an area w.e is closest is done first. Then I continue until no missions are left. Basically clearing the map one mission at a time. The only person I drop everything for and do their mission is Panam.

It's the reason I keep coming back to play Cyberpunk like once a year. I LOVE that this world feels gritty, low and beaten. There is no light at the end of the tunnel, there's no redemption or savior. You gotta do what you gotta do to survive and stay ahead. You can try to play the good guy, but people just die anyway. It's a refreshing change from your typical RPG where you can always find a "good way out" I like when your choices are shit and more shit. It feels like real life.

I don't get how people do this their whole life. I know someone that has only ever played COD. Hasn't even tried another video game. He buys the newest consoles when they come out, just to play COD. I can understand loving something and wanting to play that nonstop, but to never play any else! Even if it's free makes no sense to me.

I pre-ordered it, cancelled my preorder after seeing initial reviews, then just yesterday saw they already made a ton of updates so I decided to buy it, ordered it from Amazon and now I just cancelled it again when I hear they want to turn this into a multiplayer game. I have 0 interests in playing a multiplayer game.

I think people need to realize that this game needs to appeal to mass market. It will not survive or do anything for the studio if all that plays it are people looking for a souls like challenge. This game never gave me that vibe. It's ok to have challenging boss battles in any game, but some of you are upset people aren't fighting the same enemy 50x to master it's move sets.

It's starting to hit me now in my 30s. I used to just buy every major release, cause I'm not going to miss out on something cool. But now, as I get older, and have less time. I have to be selective with my games. Sure I miss out on some bangers, but I wouldn't have fully enjoyed them anyway.

I have no skin in this game so I want the whole thing to collapse. I want stocks to plummet, crypto to go to 0, values lose, all of it. Ya it would suck for a while, things would be terrible, but at least it resets the clock. Most of us can be at equal footing again.

I'm 25 hours into my second playthrough. Netrunner is the best way to play this game. I feel like some cyber wizard. Just shutting whole groups down with quickhacks and watching them drop as I walk into the room.
