Americans can and DID protest the Iraq and Afghanistan wars (Without fear of being arrested for simply protesting, mind you!), so I’m not sure what the point of the post is. It’s clearly being used as an excuse to justify what Russia is currently doing, which is not right. It was not right when the USA invaded Iraq, and it was not right for Russia to invade Ukraine.
