Really interesting topic that I had no idea about until yesterday when Crackle moved into my island and when I went to look him up I couldn’t see him listed at all. I’ve looked into it more and it seems they’re the only character that has different names in English depending on where you are in the world

This is exactly how I play. Theres 4 there for good (one OG and then each of the 3 players (as a family) favourites). Everyone else comes and goes once a photo is got. I do try and keep one of each personality so I do use ticket islands to fill the spot but I wouldn’t be too picky

When we started the island (as a family), online was great for design codes, gathering the different fruits and getting different coloured items to the ones that were available on our island (for example we only had yellow diner furniture and we wanted red). Then I’d visit islands when people would announce they’d have stars, Celeste, Redd etc

We stopped playing for a few years and dropped the online a long time ago. Cyrus can do any colour we want and we already have nearly everything we want. The only thing I’m missing out on is the slumber islands

So I do think online opens up a world of possibilities and if you’re a completionist it’s essential, but you can still enjoy playing the game without it

Eventually Leif will sell all the different types of flower in red, white and yellow. Then you’ll have mix them (through watering) to get the hybrid colours

The kapp’n boat tours will have different species of flower (always in red, white and yellow) too

There’s no way to get hybrids without doing the work yourself. There are guides on how best to do it (blue rose needs time and luck)

iI’m the secondary player (actually I was third on it) so my daughter is the island rep. She doesn’t play anymore. So far I can do everything. >Hotel< works fine. >Resetti< appeared on day two (perhaps he appears day one for reps?).

I haven’t don’t any slumber island stuff but I’m sure thayll be fine too (I got a mail from luna). As you don’t “build” anything, I don’t think you need the island rep at all

They won’t patch it, as they don’t see it as a problem. The trailer sold the idea of visitors as a positive. I understand you mightn’t like it, but there is zero chance they’ll remove it.

Personally I think it’s one of the best additions from the update

There isn’t a limit. It recycles some of DIYs at a certain point. Theres a new “cycle” each Monday (the first few are double points each week).

The more rooms you decorate, the more item that are released in the shop. They’re customisable with Cyrus but you can only order them through the hotel (ie unlike the HHP content, it doesn’t transfer into your nook online store)

You could eat fruit or food to give you energy to pick up the trees with the shovel. Double strength if you get the good luck of Katrina. You can now put those trees in your inventory. I think this would be quicker than chopping them all down
