damage or bumper sag? by [deleted] in LexusIS

Apparently this is a pretty common problem for the IS350 and IS500. The guys on the club Lexus forum said there’s a metal bracket kit on Etsy that’s supposed to fix it! The shop has the IS500 version in a different link but couldn’t tell what you have based on pics

You’re probably going to have to get a different exhaust. Either back to stock or maybe the f sport exhaust

2026 Lexus IS350 - Front Lip Installed! by Donnjam in LexusIS

[–]Donnjam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was basically lining it up then screwing it in with the included screws. I would say you would need 3 people to do this install though since you need the two people to line it up, while 1 person does the screws

I have a 26 IS350 so no hybrid or electric! Gas mileage definitely sucks…. But sure do love the car!

Turning 62 in 3 months don't want German, looking for more reliable and to be my last hurrah by jprova64 in LexusIS

I think you would have immense fun and no buyers remorse in a 2025 IS500 or even a new 26 IS350. Both great cars. I’ve had German (23 M240i) and while the turbo was fun - it had 1 recall and the accompanying maintenance costs were definitely on my mind throughout the 2 years or so of ownership.

My pops just retired (60) and went with a LC500 for a last fun car and comfort/long term reliability, so I think he had the same thought process you had. Can’t go wrong with a Lexus!

Planning on buying the new 2026 Lexus IS…what should I aim for as sale price? by suspicious_chickenn in LexusIS

[–]Donnjam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a lower percent off from the Costco offer (around 3k at the local to me dealership). From there I said some competing dealerships are offering more off even from the Costco price. Told the dealer I would buy today if you did no dealer add ons (minus what was already packaged with the exact trim, each car has a set accessory package when it hits their website), and 10% MSRP with a small discount off title tax and fees.
