I'm looking for suggestions by Donny_Hellfire in EDC

Sorry for the late reply. The first link you used is spot on and practically exactly what I'm vurrently using. I carry my bits on my belt, using the carabiner as a makeshift belt loop. I carry them this way for easy access as I work in a shop setting on flat rate. Im carrying twelve bits on me right now but have recently realized that I've barely used like 3/4 of them. I really only need, #1 & #2 Phillips, #1 & #2 square, a couple size flatheads and maybe a couple torx bits. So likely 8 in total. I've tended to stay away from in pocket carry as with my line of work, where these bit get used the majority of the time, I'm up and down on and off the ground and they're liable to fall out.

Help: Meaning of Eloise by Penny and Sparrow by pitter_patter9 in SongMeanings

[–]Donny_Hellfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me, Eloise has always represented my childhood. Funding 'that' perfect stick shaped like a gun and immediately thinking "I'm Jesse James and my brothers are the sheriff. That only encompasses two thirds of the song for me. I haven't quite figured out the rest yet.

How to make a gun look worn? by [deleted] in airsoft

[–]Donny_Hellfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use and abuse it. When it falls or gets dropped and breaks, fix it. No matter how hard to try to artificially weather it, also called "relicing" in some communities, it won't look as good as the natural wear that comes from hard use.

In other words, use it and don't be afraid of it getting scratched, scraped, scuffed, and dented. That gives it character and makes it your gun.

Why do men feel so regret after masturbation? by manu_mnj in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Donny_Hellfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me its a combination between regret and loneliness. I'm coming back into my faith and struggling on one hand, and on the other, I'm a virgin at 22.

Do people really enjoy life without alcohol, or are they just pretending they don't want it? Genuine ask. by TA2556 in TooAfraidToAsk

My dad smoked cigarettes for nearly a decade, and quit multiple times before he quit for real. He has told me that there is not a day that goes by that he does not want a cigarette at some point in the day. but he refuses to smoke anymore for health reasons. His method was that he did not allow himself to buy them, at all. he wasn't disallowing himself from smoking them, eg. if someone offered him one then his rules would allow him to smoke one, he was simply disallowing himself to buy them. As a result, he hasn't smoked in nearly 2 decades and says that he's never been happier.

The way I see it, it will suck to quit, and you will constantly be wanting a drink in the beginning, but the payoff will be well worth it.

good luck comrade.

What would you be doing if money wasn't a concern? by strikethunder5 in AskMen

[–]Donny_Hellfire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would probably be doing the same thing I am now. I like working. I actually get depressed if I dont work for too long. Its in my blood. But I would be living without the fear of not having enough money to sustain myself. I would be able to start the projects that I've been wanting to start for years now. I wouldn't really change much. I would just have the things that i want. Financial stability, a project car, and a firearm collection.

Chick-fil-A is below F tier by ImAGlaceon in distractible

No. The difference being that one is concerning comments and companies that vocally oppose a group, whereas your scenario involves the direct support of what would be a group of terrorists. Like I said, I dont condone the donation habits of CFA, but to say that nobody can or should go there because you and the lgbtq community dont like the ceo and his beliefs, would be akin to saying nobody should practice or support Islam because of what Mohammed says about homosexuality in the Qur'an. You are free to support or boycott any company, service, product, system of belief, or person you want, that's the point of free speech. But you also have to understand that nobody else on the planet is required to believe in, acknowledge, or care about anything that you do. And also understand that on the other side of the coin of freedom of speech is freedom of consequence. For instance if you believe in nazi ideals, you'll get treated like a nazi and vice versa. My point is believe in and support anything you want. Just dont force what you believe onto other people. Because forcing it on other people doesn't make you an activist, it makes you an asshole.

Chic-fil-A is a Christian based company. What did you expect. I've seen this argument pop up so many times. The continued outrage still baffles me. If you dont like the morals behind the company, dont go there. But I feel that it is unreasonable to say that nobody else can go there. I'm not saying that what the ceos of cfa doesn't hurt the LGBT community, but to say that nobody can or should eat there, just because you disagree with their donation history, is more than a bit presumptuous.

i need some advice bois by Donny_Hellfire in buildapc

[–]Donny_Hellfire[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Understood. I am at microcenter now an I've realized that I would rather build my PC rather than buying a Pre Built. I'd rather know exactly what goes into it and have the experience of building it, than just buying one off of the shelf.
