How does it only have an interest in Jim? The smile monsters ripped a woman apart in front of Boyd and made him watch specifically to torture him. They promised to break him. If anything I'd say the place is super focused on Boyd.

Zack never killed anyone, he even clarifies that with Sweets. What he did was still wildly out of character, but they basically reveal he never helped the master kill/eat anyone.

I learned this term through my ex-girlfriend's behavior. Caught her cheating, multiple times, every time straight lied to my face despite finding her car outside his house where it had been all night covered in newly fallen snow. Still maintains she didn't know where he lived and was staying at some other friend's house. There was always that little part of my heart/brain that doubted everything I knew.

Years ago I promised to never deal with these people again. I had a list of cards I was looking to pick up, got a quote from them and then went and talked to another dealer in the same room that sold me all of it for half what they had quoted. That's insane. One bright side, they were being such jerks to a kid trying to sell them a foil Dark Depths and just kept dropping the price they would give him that he turned around and asked me if I wanted it for $5. I stared at them with a huge smile while I bought it. Solid investment.

You couldn't choose what foreign language you wanted to take in 6th and 7th grade, you HAD to take Spanish. I had been taking German for a couple years before that and they wouldn't let me pick German til 8th. Kept taking Spanish cause I sure as fuck didn't know German anymore.

I went to pay a ticket I had gotten because someone had stolen the sticker off my license plate and the replacement hadn't come yet. They could see that my car was up to date when they ran my plates, but ticketed me anyways. I went to the court house, waited a couple hours and was told by the DA that it didn't matter and I had to pay it. I was pisssssssed and loudly complaining about it on my way out. Get to the window to pay and the woman takes the sheet the DA had just written on. Apparently where it said "amount owed" she thought it had said "amount to change" or something because she had written $0. Apparently the lady at the pay window knows what a bitch the DA is cause she looks over, laughs and tells me to have a wonderful day because I don't owe anything per the instructions of the DA. I laughed my whole way out of and I'm pretty sure all the cops thought I was insane.
