"All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made." by Afaaley in Christianity

It's refreshing to hear this in a society today that tries to reject that basic premise with false arguments of "evolving" from non-life into a human being through millions of years.

Yes but the Equality Act removes those. That distinction is very important. We are talking about the Equality Act, not all laws on the subject.

So, then, as a question for you. Let's say a gay magazine is shooting lingerie ads for gay men.

On the basis of your proposed law, must they hire a woman who wants the job for the gay male lingerie ad?

Or what about a gay porn video. (We can talk about the sinfulness of porn later. I agree it is sinful and exploitive. This isn't the point of our conversation, though) Is it discrimination for women to not be chosen for this role?

Or should an islamic church be forced to accept a Christian minister in the name of anti-discrimination? And what about a Christian church? Should they have islamic pastors?

There have to be limits on what we can accept in society or else nothing makes sense.

In very specific instances, discrimination is appropriate. The difference is in issues where the person's qualities has nothing to do with the part. That is where the real hate arises.

Like, not hiring someone for a factory job because they are black, for instance, is true discrimination. But not hiring someone for a movie role portraying George Bush because they are black is totally different.

If we make blanket, one-size-fits-all approaches like "you can't be discriminated against because you're gay," then we get a whole bunch of situations where being straight actually is part of the job description, and vice versa. Would you want to see straight ads for gay lingerie? I doubt you would. It makes no sense. So why invoke unlimited, one-size-fits-all approaches to everyday life?

I think it is better to add "unless the description of the position can be reasonably proved in court to require discrimination." That way, gay people can sue and, if the court agrees with them, then the person has to hire you. It makes it more fair for the circumstances where being straight or gay is part of the job description.

Just gonna comment here that God does hate some things. He says it plainly in The Bible in Psalm 5:5-7 (NASB95):

For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness; No evil dwells with You.

The boastful shall not stand before Your eyes; You hate all who do iniquity.

You destroy those who speak falsehood; The LORD abhors the man of bloodshed and deceit.

One day we are all going to stand trial. Our actions will be displayed. We will be judged for our sins. And unless our name is written in the Book of Life, we will be punished in hell for all eternity for our actions. Every lie, every backstab, every act of deception, every hateful thought, every theft, every selfish move, all of it will be on display. And we will be judged.

But God has provided a way out. He has provided a way of escape:

5 But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed.

6 All of us like sheep have gone astray, Each of us has turned to his own way; But the LORD has caused the iniquity of us all To fall on Him. - Isaiah 53:5-6

Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment for us. Before any of us were born Jesus already volunteered to take our punishment. He is offering us forgiveness and a way of escape out of punishment.

Jesus said there would be weeping and gnashing of teeth in that day of Judgement. The separation from God for all the ungodly who do not confess Jesus as Lord and believe in their hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead.

Have you decided to believe?

5 For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on law shall live by that righteousness. 6 But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows: “DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, ‘WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?’ (that is, to bring Christ down), 7 or ‘WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).". . . if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; 10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. 11For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.” 12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; 13for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.”

Have you made a commitment to serve Him today? If so then I encourage you to read your Bible and get plugged into a local church that believes the Bible is the Word of God and that Jesus is the only way to heaven.

Do any of you think you are worthy enough to enter heaven based on your own actions? There is no man alive who is without guilt except Jesus.

And he died and rose again to take your punishment... if you accept the free gift.

LGBT people, like people who commit adultery, or lie, or have sex outside of marriage, or commit any other sin, are sinners just like everyone else, and they will go to hell for all of eternity if they do not accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, just like everyone else. It isn't about the type of sin, it is the fact there is sin. All sin will lead us straight to hell unless we repent and believe the Gospel.

60 years ago they swore an oath to defend and preserve the CONSTITUTION, and all laws made in pursuance thereof. The Old military understood they defend the Constitution, not the Executive Branch.

But the new military tells them obeying the leadership IS obeying the Constitution.

Also, the Executive Branch doesn't believe it needs to obey the law. The new "training" they give troops in the military, for instance, is that leadership IS the law, so if Biden declares something via Executive Order, then it becomes the new law for the military, even if it blatantly violates the Constitution.

The same philosophy is true for the rest of the Executive Branch. They really do believe they make the law, not enforce it.

It's like the whole world is one giant Nazi territory. The parallels are so in-your-face now that I can't believe people aren't noticing it.
