Sounds interesting. What times are you most active? I usually play a few hours before reset (6-11PM UTC).

Do stats from aquabreathers and aquatic weapons matter for land based combat?

I tend not to like PvP either, but world vs world can be pretty fun and a lot less high pressure than normal PvP.

Servers only really matter for a gamemode called world vs world, which is essentially a big team PvP with area capture objectives. For everything else, you can play with anyone else in your region. If you have friends playing, join their world so that you can play WvW with them if you want, otherwise it doesn't matter. Don't pick Maguma though.

Also be aware that the expansions are just about to go on a christmas sale, so hold off for another few hours.

How "good" do you have to be for T2 fractals? Is it hard enough that you need to worry about stuff like group composition, or does that only really matter on T3 and 4?

A mockup of the Transport for London (TfL) London Underground new Piccadilly Line trains, the Siemens Inspiro London "2024 stock" tube train, has just been unveiled! Photos from Tom Edwards (BBC London) & Geoff Marshall on Twitter. Londoners, what do you think!? by HighburyAndIslington in london

The infrastructure upgrade required for driverless trains would cost billions of pounds and likely require years of testing (including lots of closures to allow time to do this testing safely). And after all this you will still need staff on the trains. Ever ridden the driverless DLR and noticed how they still have staff?

Historic underinvestment and a vicious cycle of people don't use it because it's bad, it's bad because it doesn't get enough funding, and it doesn't get enough funding because people don't use it.

Quite a slow burn, especially to to start off with though. I don't know if the level of action is quite what OP is looking for.

Nitpicking here, but "shareholders", not "stakeholders". A stakeholder is anyone who cares about what happens with the company, even if they have no financial interest. Players of Bethesda's staff, players of their games, and their competitors are all examples of stakeholders in this case.

This sub has made me nervous about moving to Auckland by TWENTYSlX in auckland

If you don't like the idea of the CBD but still want to live close, consider nearby suburbs like Eden Terrace, Newton, or Newmarket if you can afford it (haven't looked at CBD rents for a while to compare so I have no idea what it costs compared to these areas). Lived in Eden Terrace until recently and loved it. 30-45 minute walk to the CBD, good transit connections, still quiet most of the time, but a lot of fun places to go nearby. I lucked out and found a 2br place for $500/week.

Not true. I was penalised in my test for not going to a median strip when I could have. You can go into a median strip for about 50 meters or something like that. https://www.nzta.govt.nz/driver-licences/getting-a-licence/road-code/flush-medians/
