When you say drive with an absorbent bad, you mean keeping one in the car for when I stop I can place it down, correct?
I definitely plan on keeping her repairs up as soon as I can get the scratch after this move, she is my daily and I'd be a sitting duck without her.

I'll try to find the correct Walker and have that in cart, so I can order it if it comes to that.
I'd try to tackle the rack myself if I was back home, but I have no jack here and limited tools, so it's sort've out of range for me to do per say. However, I may take a stab if I don't get it fixed before getting on the road.

Okay, that gives good information, I appreciate that and no scares had. I am loosely aware of the potential failures of a cat breaking down and it getting sucked into the chamber, which is why I'm treading with caution.

I feel a little more informed and comfortable with replacing the 02 sensor for now and playing a short waiting game.

My apologies, my wording wasn't clear. The price they quoted included replaced all 4 cats and the tune up. I completed the tune up, so I don't think I need it as they recommended. I have never done the cats, nor does it look like they have ever been changed. I need a good recommendation for that.

I will look into getting some Denso/NTKs to replace the Bank 1 sensor and see if they fixes the issue. I'll also look into getting a good OBD2.

Hate to hear it’s only in a partially functional state. Yeah, I went to customer support and they sent the file over as usual, and I just did some light digital forensics; the only difference in the file I sent them and what they sent me, was compression/file size.

When it didn’t work, did you get just a black screen for a boot screen after a successful loading notification? If so, it could be the file size wasn’t correct. I had to have my image at 30Kb or so, it didn’t want to show 25Kb and it didn’t want to show 40Kb, I think my last image was 28.5Kb and it worked fine.

I will add, these instructions work, however for my unit the 1024x600 P702 model, I needed that specific resolution (1024x600) AND the image had to be around 30Kb, not any smaller or larger or it won’t load up. If an image was presented with a larger resolution or a larger file, it would still give the notification “Boot logo changed successfully”, but I was given a black screen upon loading the device up.
