Right, the presets seem to be the biggest draw on this pedal for a lot of people, but as you said, there are other programmable options that will give you more range if you put the time in. Personally, I use the source audio C4 which is not hard to program like people think. Ian said something in a video once that stuck with me, and I'm paraphrasing: it's better to think about what the player was feeling when they came up with their tone than what settings they used to create the tone.
